The Aliens Have Landed!
As most here know, my favorite forum (and the one that brought me first to ATS) is the Aliens and UFO forum. It is a pretty varied place, made up of
threads covering the entire spectrum of UFO and alien-related phenomena. You'll see everything from personal sightings, UFO photos and videos,
research into old documents, and even those claiming to be in personal contact with said beings.

Likening our board to a galaxy is rather apt. There are clusters with individual characteristics, peculiarities, and inhabitants, like our forums..
Between these forums are the same modes of relationship that you'd expect in any populous and civilized galaxy. Some members are cancerous and
parasitic trolls, taking up everyone's attention but not really giving anything in return. Rivalry and competition abounds between posters with
vastly different and sometimes colliding world views.
News of the Weird
"All right," I said. "How are you planning to save all of us?" "Well," they said, "when we hear that a disaster is coming, we will work with
the local authorities to make sure a mandatory evacuation is ordered. Then everybody can drive down here to our UFO landing field, we can board the
waiting UFO, and then it will swoosh us all up to safety above the clouds." I was speechless for a minute. Then I asked the most logical question I
could think of. "Will it bring us back when the danger is over?" "Of course it will. And those who don't want to come back will be relocated in
other areas of their choice - Mars, or someplace."
