H5N1 Avian Flue Issues
ATS Weekly, Edition 010, September 20, 2005
"When the pandemic starts, it is simply too late," is the stark warning of Lee Jong-wook, a South Korean doctor studying the H5N1 Bird Flu. And
in an exclusive July, 2005 ATSNN interview, Henry
L. Niman "The migratory birds in China and Russia migrate to Europe, Asia, and Australia in August and September. I would expect all three continents
to see an increase in H5N1 in the next month or two. This may spill over into Alaska in North America and into Canada, The United States, and Mexico
shortly thereafter." These migrations are happening now, and the world is unprepared. To help establish a framework for discussion on this important
issue, we've opened a new H5N1 Avian Flue Issues
discussion forum.
Many existing threads from other locations throughout ATS and BTS have been moved to the new forum for better organization of a topic certain to
occupy the thoughts of many. Some of the important threads include:

While not a "conspiracy topic", the evolution of the H5N1 virus is as much biology as government inaction throughout the effected nations with
China leading the charge of "face saving" denial, cover-up, and secrecy. This deadly flu has the potential to destroy the civilization of entire
nations as no single state has enough of the one drug (manufactured at one Scandinavian drug factory) proven effective at treating those who
contracted the virus.
Currently, there are no confirmed cases of human-to-human transference of the virus. However, stories continue to emerge of an increasing robust
ease with which the virus is transfered from bird to human. Many scientists studying this deadly virus agree that undocumented human transfer has
likely already occurred, as the virus' evolution is currently at this critical stage.
In the event of a global pandemic, staying aware of events, counter measures, and options is the only means by which we can stand a chance of
survival. AboveTopSecret.com members and staff have always provided excellent resources, information, and strategies during major events such as this.
The new forum will help with a place to provide a focus on this potential devastating pandemic and a resource for our members to learn what to do.
