A question was posed, "What was it like modding ATS this week"? With the tragedy caused by Katerina the board was on fire. There was much
uncertainty, fear and anger. These are natural emotions for a situation like this. Emotions at time ran "in the red". Again understandable. It
wasn't localized in the membership, the staff felt it as well. After all, we ARE people too. .
Many were looking for information, answers, hope and by and large the members here were MOST supportive of one another. There was some
ignorance, as there will always be in such a large community, it was denied by our excellent members. My hat's off to you. Well done.
So what was it like to mod ATS this week? In a word, difficult. I, personally, was receiving an incredible amount of u2u's, upwards of 30-40/day.
The sheer amount of flow on the board was a little overwhelming. I thank SkepticOverlord for creating the Katerina Aftermath forum. It helped to focus
the information. This forum isn't going away anytime soon, there will be questions needing answers for a long time.
All in all, I believe that ATS, members and staff, handled this catastrophe very well and will continue to do so in the weeks and months ahead. You
should be proud to be a part of the finest community on the Net.
