My Trip Into A FEMA Detainment
Camp
I'm extremely depressed to report that things seem to only be getting sadder concerning the people so devastatingly affected by Katrina last week.
Two car loads of us headed over to Falls Creek, a youth camp for Southern Baptist churches in Oklahoma that agreed to have its facilities used to
house Louisiana refugees. I'm afraid the camp is not going to be used as the kind people of the churches who own the cabins believe it was going to
be used.

I promised big news in one of my ATS podcasts and now it's time to deliver (how cool are those podcasts?). Over that past 6 weeks I have been working
on a deal with a major Television Production and Development Company in Los Angeles, California ("Hollywood" to be exact).
Moderator's Musings from Intrepid
A question was posed, "What was it like modding ATS this week"? With the tragedy caused by Katerina the board was on fire. There was much
uncertainty, fear and anger. These are natural emotions for a situation like this. Emotions at time ran "in the red". Again understandable. It
wasn't localized in the membership, the staff felt it as well. After all, we ARE people too. .
Thoughts on Katrina
When William One Sac asked me to write an article on my feelings of what I have witnessed in the past week, I was more than glad to as I saw it as
another opportunity to work through my feelings. But I officially refuse to write the article now. And I have good personal reasons for doing so.
Because if I had written that article I might have said...
