ABOUT ABOVE TOP SECRET September 2004 Site Performance Summary A Record-Breaking Month on All Measures! The Internet's largest and most popular community dedicated to the discussion of conspiracies, cover ups, scandals and other "alternative topics" has experienced a new, and staggering milestone of growth and cultural relevance. The core domain, AboveTopSecret.com, received 1,060,000 unique user sessions for the month of September 2004. In one month, we received more unique users than the entire history of the AboveTopSecret.com website from birth through September 2003! Clearly, as people search for answers to the complex questions of our era, increasingly they are finding AboveTopSecret.com in their quest for understanding. A picture is worth one million words. Since early February, AboveTopSecret.com has been achieving regular growth, with a few significant peaks of traffic for "hot news days" and other timely events. September of 2004 also saw more pages viewed on AboveTopSecret.com than ever before, with 23.2 million pages viewed for a total of 540 gigabytes of bandwidth. That's an average of 773,333 pages and 18 gigabytes each day. These are daily average numbers that exceeds AboveTopSecret.com's monthly averages in early 2003. The single most-popular content page throughout the month continued to be the War on Terrorism forum for the second month in a row, followed very closely by the UFO and Aliens forum (in reality, a statistical dead-heat with only 200 views separating the two). The most popular forum thread was, the Video Shows Beheading of American Civilian Nick Berg by Al Qaeda Group thread which continues to be a big Google draw each time there is a beheading story in the news. On the main site, our Area 51 Page remains the most popular of the main site content pages, followed in a close second by the Aircraft Index page. These pages have always been the main site's top-draw. We continue to be a major force in search engine topics within our category. A record-breaking massive 558,142 users came to ATS from search engines and referring websites. A record 315,000 visitors first discovered ATS in September of 2004 through searches on on Google alone. A staggering total of 12,094 unique website URL's have referred visitors to ATS. And finally, another record-breaking total of 44,466 unique search terms brought people to ATS, with the following ranking as the top 10 searches: area 51 conspiracies above top secret abovetopsecret beheadings comanche helicopter philadelphia project novatech society video of beheading novus tek And finally, we continue to be an interesting destination for users "in the know" as we've experienced the following session activity from these domains: Navy.mil - 4,758 sessions Af.mil - 3,661 sessions Army.mil - 1,979 sessions Nipr.mil - 1,813 sessions (someone got a memo, that's 1/2 the norm!) Another great month for ATS!

This is amazing, and congratulations to all those involved both to the Admin/Mods and Super Mods, and especially the ATSers themselves who have helped make this site so successful.

SO, with the new Xeon setup and the increase in posts and sessions, how much longer before you reach the max on it?

Just Curious....

Have you done any projections SO, or would that be bad luck ??

I've always liked that last graph as it's start coincides with when I first joined.I remember well that flat area of downtime at the beginning of the graph.

We're close. Our next step is a dual-server (two Dual-Xeon servers) sometime in January.
