It's official. Al-Quaida has claimed responsibility for the attack, wich is a revenge against the Spainish contribution in the 3rd Persian Gulf War.

necro99: Nothing is official. There is a claim, not substantiated as yet. If it is Al Queda, and if the attack was made in revenge for Afghanistan and Iraq, the link between Saddam Hussein and Al Queda is established.

There is now a videotape claiming the responsibility but my question for you is how would this show a link between Saddam and Al Queda? I mean Saddam is out of power and they are just mad we are in another "mulsim" country. I don't see how this could be any form of a link at all.

Foxnews is reporting that one of the Morrocans being questioned in Spain was questioned about 9/11 as well.

That is certainly an interesting link, remember we only caught about 8,000 of the 20,000 trained in Afghan terror camps. That leaves a huge number still free in the world.

This bombing could certainly be the start of more.
