imho, people should be born with a hard-coded IP address. That would solve a few problems.

What the end purpose of this chipping frenzy turns out to be,there are many theories about it's purposes, but most of the potential outcomes of the technology appear to be bad, because it is being made to look too good, too necessary.
It's no more natural than the tattoos that the 3rd Reich put on the jews in WWII,or the tags and chips that farmers use to keep track of their livestock, which is a way you will never hear chipping associated as, because when you look at it as if it is being used to keep track of livestock,it begins to look very bad indeed.
But really, that's what all the social security cards and drivers licenses have been doing for a long time anyway.
Keepin track-o-the cattle.

Please tell me you're joking!!!

Please tell me you have more respect for yourself than this!

They can tag my cold dead corpse all they want but until then "No Way In Hell!!" Anyone who thinks that insertion of a foreign object into there body is a good idea or somehow an advancement of humanity has serious issues. Especially when you combine it with ideas like weapons in space or the fact that "THE SYSTEM IS CORRUPT!!!!!!!!!"

The information is out there for you to read about it. Read it with the idea that you are supposed to be a Free Person and not a tagged animal. The propaganda about saving kidnappings and all that is B.S. They've been screaming that for decades. So we provide them with more Tax Dollars for there Military War Machines and Police State. Yet every year they need more and more cause it's not enough. So we give it to them and they squander it! Loose a Trillion Dollars! Give themselves raises. Make more War machines. Take away jobs. Then say we need more support.

BullPucky!! They are Lying!!! Now they say well surely if everyone gets tagged then we will all be safe! NO, we will not be safe. We will be TAGGED ANIMALS. Identified and located from Space. A painted Target with nowhere to hide and Vaporized by an Unseen Unknown Coward Tyrant with Major "God Complex Disorder" and a Tiny "Limp Noodle" WeeWee that must be compensated by building Giant Falic Missles and Weapons that ejaculate in either (Auto or Semi-Auto) ways cause they cannot!!

Do not give into these People! Have some respect for yourself and your Children if you have them. I mean are you such a misdirected "Head up Bum" loser that you cannot exist in society without being this pathetic creature?

I feel that the British Totalitarian Government is obsessed with control and ID cards are just another infringement into our civil liberties.

The Government six months ago was behaving true to form asking for a debate about Entitlement Cards and were running scared of even calling these cards what they really are. ID Cards. More cloak and dagger designed to mislead us, the electorate. Now it has been leaked in the press that we will have to pay £39 of our money for an ID card, with out a debate.

I was under the impression that once I had paid tax, the money, which is left, is mine to spend on what I want. Now I am being informed that I will have to comply and buy an ID card that will be compulsory. So what is taxation for?

The biggest issue that the government is not talking about is the chip. A chip carries data and is read using software. Software is scaleable, therefore it can be changed at a later date and more features can be added, even without you knowing.

What today is called an entitlement card will tomorrow be called your right to vote, your right to make a purchase, your bank account, a tracking device, always on and reporting where you are, who you associate with.
Big Brother will be watching you. George Orwell had said it all, but was wrong about the year!

If, as I understand it, we are all innocent until proved guilty. Why would any person want to carry a chip that today identifies you and invades all the freedom you have, just to prove your not guilty of being an immigrant.

In the future I see the scenario that I will not be able to get health insurance because the insurance company will want to see my "Entitlement card" which carries my Medical records and they will determine that I am too high risk because my father had symptoms thirty years ago, even though I am healthy.
I will be penalised because I have my fathers DNA and his symptoms are dormant in me and our records are linked on a Government database.
No health Insurance means that I am a bad risk. Banks will not lend me money, I will not be able to get a mortgage, and I would be homeless.
If your homeless, you cant have a bank account and without a bank account you cannot be paid by your employer. I would be destitute.

I know that this sounds like it is worst case, but that is what the Government will do. It will start slowly, finger prints, retinal scans and medical records and then the Banks will link "the card" to your bank accounts, because it will make it easier to tax you at source when your employer pays you directly onto your chipped, branded, Government Bank ID card.

The banks will create personal profiles. How old, gender, region, salary group, spending patterns, you will be tracked from you last purchase. Banks will sell your profiles to the advertising men and wherever you are you will be bombarded with emails, phones call advertisements targeted by location.

If you think that's far fetched, that's exactly what every mobile company in the world is trying to do now using a mobile phone instead of an ID Card. In Japan it is possible to buy a Coke from a vending machine using your mobile and your bank account will be debited...It has started.

Then cards with become a risk because they can be copied and they will upgrade you to the verichip. An implanted chip the size of a grain of rice that works as a transmitter and receiver.

All this time you will be threatened that this is the only way to stop terrorists moving money. The Government will create control from fear, which they created in the controlled media. Never mind that the Government is washing over the fact that every terrorist involved in the 9-11 tragedy had an ID card, they had money which had been transferred to them. Proof that ID cards are ineffectual. More propaganda spun by the Government.

So do you really want an ID card or a chip? Never, I value my freedom too much.

You have be warned, I have no doubt that ID cards will be forced through and chips will follow at a later date, but once people realise what the future has in store there will be civil rebellion over this excessive control.

And I didn't even mention the mark of the beast! how would chip fit into that scenario?

Regards

Law

I think that VeriChips are a very bad idea. I even went so far as to speak with my family on this issue, and we all could agree VeriChips are a bad idea. The only way they'll chip me is if it's done without my knowledge (during surgery or a dental procedure or something).

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

That's the anology I was trying to think of in another thread that discusses the Verichip!

It's been bad enough for a long time already; With the nice chrome posts & velvety ropes at the banks, airports & movie theatres...They make it look nice & fancy, but it's still just another corral for making us "moooooo".

Now they're dropping (nearly) all pretense & cutting to the chase...And that chase won't be very hard when they can track your every move. Before the chip, they would've had to track your bank transactions, travel arrangements, etc, etc...Once you've got the chip, all they have to do is type a few parameters into a computer to get GPS coordinates (Up to the minute results!).

It could be good if used correctly. But you know, there will always be some asshole there to # things up and use the chip (yum) for bad purposes.

In case there were any doubts about the veri-chip's intended use:

[Palm Beach Post - 12/20/01] PALM BEACH -- Today's security measures don't work very well, says Richard Sullivan, pointing to the Sept. 11 terror attacks on New York and Washington.
He's says he's got a better idea: a microchip instead of a green card. Foreigners who pass through customs or immigration could be injected with the chip, allowing officials to monitor their activities better and keep terrorists out..In five years, Sullivan said he can see the chips being used in children, the elderly, prisoners, and by employers at facilities such as airports and nuclear plants. Society in general could use them instead of ATM or credit cards, he said.
www.refuseandresist.org...

Goody, goody gumdrops!!I can't wait until everything I own, including me, is under the watchful eye of our benevolent government!! So what if they will be able to deny me access to the most basic necessities, like food from a market or the freedom to travel, with little more than the push of a button. I will be safe from the "bad guys"! Won't I?

...Unless it just so happens that it's the "bad guys" that are the ones who have the most ready-access to the chip's information...

Considering the power-mad, greed-crazed, control-happy attitude of the current system of rulership in the USA, I'd say that the opportunity for "misuse" of the chip is too great for it to be effective for "security" reasons.
