To be clear, I do think a large evil did take place back then. I do see that it would be insensitive to say nothing happened.
I have read many stories of survivors. It was a very troubling time.
I just can't understand why people would be jailed for not believing it.
There are insensitive people al over the world, but is it right to jail them?
In wars, people die. Some, understandably believe that the talk after a war could be used for some sort of political gain.
More than just jews died in germany.
Again, I am not denying the Holocaust, but I can understand why some might have certain doubts. From lying leaders that one can never know if fact or
not, to the numerous stories of the german actions then.
Many walk around publically denying parts of 911 without punishment. Why is this jailable?
I feel for the many who had their lives destroyed in those times, I am so very glad I was not part of it, but if someone does not want to belive
something, who can say they should be punished for it? It couldn't change anything about it.
