The stated goal of this project, sponsored by the Department of Commerce, is nothing short of the next phase of human evolution. Increased health, performance, and longer lives. Sound fantastic? Sure it does but as with everything there is a flip side to this wonderful new technology.

If it is not carefully tended to it could very well be the end of the human race. And I don't mean we will evolve into some sort of post-human cyborg even though that is the goal of the project. I mean it could very well end our existance on this planet altogether.
