I saw this linked to on another site and it seems like an interesting career.

GCHQ:
You've heard about MI5 and MI6. But what about GCHQ, the third arm of Britain's intelligence service?...

...In many ways, we are the 'ears of the nation'. Using sophisticated technology, our role is to gather and analyse electronic and communications emissions which is used to form government policy and decisions. Terrorism, drugs smuggling, illegal arms trading, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. if it's a threat to British interests, people in high places will be looking to us to provide a picture of the evolving situation..

Anyone ever heard of Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) before?
I'm thinking of ordering their CD-Rom and brochure just for the heck of it.

GCHQ work along side with the NSA, both use ECHELON. Even though, GCHQ still say ECHELON doesnt exists, even though you can get pictures of it
. GCHQ is like MI5/MI6 you dont go looking for them, they come looking for you...

My Mother is British but doesn't live there any more.
I'm not sure if she kept her British citizenship.

If your Mother was born in this country (UK) and was classed as British, she is still a British citizen

Go here for details:

www.gchq.gov.uk...

It says "high Calibre" graduates - but they usually only consider those from Oxford or Cambridge universities.
