Fished off the dock this evening, had the biggest "thing" on and took my line out...it went zzzzzzzzzzzing.......and I put the breaks on it and lost it, my hook was bent. Sigh....plus, I made a new friend, I named him Henri, he's a Heron, I feed him shrimp and he hangs with me on the dock. Yesterday, he proceeded to snatch a baby eel and in front of me and this thing was in his beak and flip flopping around him, he started shaking his head to try to figure out how to gulp it down I guess! It was the stuff of nightmares, I have a thing about worms, snakes and all things squirmy...I kept closing my eyes and praying he'd figure it out, and told myself for sure girl, you are gonna have nightmares. And I di, in my dream it was a baby sized Nellie the Loch Ness monster bobbing her head up and down, up and down the canal....ahhh....Florida
