Gordi, My husband plays accostic and I never saw him use one of those. But he does have a 12 string too. So maybe he just never tried to use one. I'm gonna ask him about that. Cool little tool . I'd like to hear what it can do.

Just talked to the hubby.

He says it called a strummer pick. They cost around $2.00 here in the states. He said, he would show me when we go to the guitar shop on Saturday.
I'm always looking a the loose picks. I always buy one every week. I find something pretty looking. And as long as it's a medium I get it.

(Unfortunately, They don't make the Dunlop Strum Rose one anymore but you might well be able to still buy one or a similar one in the shops! Good luck!)

Yep,
The strings on a 12 string are grouped in pairs.
The 1st pair of strings (the thinnest pair) are tuned to exactly the same note as one another (E), as are the 2nd pair (B).
All of the rest are tuned so that the thinner string of each pair is the same note, but 1 octave higher than, the thicker string, the thicker string being tuned exactly like a standard 6-string!

I think that's it?? Did it make sense? LOL

What bow you got Homer ? Not that I know anything about it just curious, I've used a couple of composite ones in the army and a neat fold away crossbow.
