It's a long and complicated story, but staying another night wasn't an option , if it were rest assured you'd of had a phone call last night.

I won't embarrass myself but yes they are most definitely leeches

The upshot of it all is that Mrs C has been offered her dream job (we found out yesterday) and doesn't want to jeopardise it by not turning up on the Monday.

I'll call you over the weekend if I get the chance and explain fully

I'll probably be "off-grid" over the weekend anyway, am planning on attending a free music festival way up in Montrose on the NE coast! and It's a Doooozy!

Thanks for asking Cody. The 10 days will be up just before The Gathering. So hopefully I'll have news around the camp fire....which will make the meet up all the sweeter if I'm heading back for probate

Cody just sent me a text, but I have no money on my cell phone to answer him.
I'm having my 3rd migraine in 10 days...that's why I've been absent.

My eyes hurt too much to catch up, so I thought I would just pop in and explain.
I'm feeling very alone here, and miss you all.
I'm trying to sleep it off...and I really hope later on I can come back and stay for a while.

I was going head to the New forest this weekend and visit the family,

Having checked the roads, and with the Monaco GP this weekend, STUFF THAT LOL.

I've been in some jams in my time as well, some of them epic, one was on the way to the IOW festival.

We all piled out the car, got out the guitars and had a picnic, many people joined us and we had a great time, we were kind gutted when the traffic started moving again.

I'm so sorry I've been flitpoofing all the time, I'm home now.

I'm loving all the stories that people are adding, keep up the good work!

Phoebes is doing brill, her wound is very clean and all the swelling has gone down. She had her check up today and the vets were happy with it so all should be well now. She just hates me now for pushing pills down her throat. You should see some of the looks she gives me!

Jaky Sis, sending gentle hugs your way. We'll make sure you have a nice quiet room on the big ship.

Jane, LOL, ignore me, my neck is fine now I just jarred it a bit jumping. That and my chronic hypochondria. Thank you for offering to help though, you are very sweet.

Cody, OMG, I nearly booked a return flight for the Monday too! LOL, I checked at the last minute though luckily, I bought the non refundable tickets so I'm glad I checked.

I just got back from Newport on Malpas road where the queues were meant to be and I didn't see any traffic really, seemed pretty clear. Have fun whatever you do with your weekend.

I'm being a fat pig today people, I'm having a large stuffed crust pepperoni pizza all to myself. Not sure what I'm having for my main course though.
