Its a southern thing Angel, its supposed to look like that
the sausage is the small chunks IN the gravy

I make brown gravy as well, for mashed taters, Salisbury Steak, etc

It's been all over the news up here that NC had a large spat of twisters across the State. Typical footage of house without roofs, trees down, etc, etc.

Glad to see you were unaware of it, that means it missed you.

Good morning Shed-a-lots!

Hope you are all well?

Massive Hugs!!!!!!

(((((Gordi))))) Is the square a side shot of the round tube or something like that? I was thinking maybe salt, soil or dry foam lol.

[[[[Tsu]]]]]
OOOhhhhhh!!!!!! That sounds like you are getting VERY close to the answer!!!
YES the Square is a "side shot" of the cylinder!!!
No salt/soil etc. it IS a single SOLID object (You could make it out of wood for example) with an unusual shape - but YOU are definitely on the right track!!!

HEY! Did nobody like my photos earlier?
HERE

***mutters: I don't know... you climb a big hill and take loads of photos, stitch them together to make a nice panorama, share them in the shed and no one notices....***

Back to the Square Peg in A Round Hole Dilemma...

CLUE 1
You start out with my old friend "The Cylinder"!!!

CLUE 2
Cut the Cylinder, so that it's overall length is equal to it's circles diameter.
(In other words... The height of the "tin of beans" cylinder equals the width (across the middle) of the circular end)

CLUE 3
You will need to make TWO more cuts in the cylinder...

Yay! Can you tell I've been watching Big Bang theory on E4?

Haha, I'm holding my glass up and studying it haha. A ball maybe? I'm not sure how to look at the triangle. Does the object fill all the sides and edges?

To everyone, Thank you for holding my hand the other day and being so nice to me even though I was a spikey ball of evil. I'm all ranted out and back to my normal smiley self. Thank you. Hugs!

YES!

Not a ball, but yes the object would completely fill all the sides and edges of all the holes (square, circle and triangle)

To everyone, Thank you for holding my hand the other day and being so nice to me even though I was a spikey ball of evil. I'm all ranted out and back to my normal smiley self. Thank you. Hugs!

I thought you were ALWAYS spikey and evil??

Sorry - Mean NEVER!!!

NEVER!!!!!

OK, I think it's time to spill the beans!
Tsu got closest to an answer!

You take a cylinder e.g a broom handle, and cut it to a length equal to it's circle diameter, then cut two diagonal cuts into it from the very bottom corners of it's base, meeting in the middle at the other end to make a kind of pyramidy shape sort-of! But with one circle side (base) and two flat surfaced ovals, as well as two curved surfaces which link the ovals.

Easier to show you than to describe it I think?
So, here you go.... How to fit a square peg into a round hole! (and a triangle one!!)
LINK to solution HERE

I hope that you enjoyed todays wee geeky challenge?
