Thanks Gordi,

Please make that a beer. And a tall one.
I'm planning on doing a big spring cleaning this weekend, and need to gather my strength.
It's funny how my brother in Alberta was just telling me how it was snowing, while I'm sitting outside on the balcony here in Lebanon, in a sunny, wonderful 25 celsius. Winter has been very harsh this year in Canada, and as I read in the States too. I feel sorry for you guys.

We are used to -42 C, but I think this was new for some of you this year.

Hey RR, if you like reading.... have you managed to catch any of "The Shed" story at all?
It all started in another thread, as a bit of collaborative fantasy writing, and our very own, splendidly talented Jacygirl pulled it all together into a series of short story segments...which kind of tells the story of this little Shed!!

I think I have a "compiled" version somewhere... where all of the segments are together in one small "book" if that helps?

You should add your own journey! (How you found the shed?) That would be fun.

I am taking advantage of posting this here as mum's ashes are still at the undertakers and not been laid to rest because of my sister...

I have nowhere to go to place flowers.....so please forgive me for being a bit maudlin and putting this here....it is something that always helps me get through the hard times, and I hope it helps some of you in some way at such times.

For my mum who died a year ago today....

Thank you Night Star,

(((( Big hug)))

And btw thanks for the healing angel avatar for my husband, it helped.( He had liver and kidney infection from protein injections he took for the gym. )

He is coming home from the hospital tomorrow. Woohoo!!!!
So, yes, I'm very happy.
He spent 6 days at the hospital, and I miss him terribly.

Jacy's just been overly busy I think? Too much RL stuff goin' on.
She's done such a HUGE amount of work on it already.
I have the wee "follow up" side-story bit already done (for after the party) but I can't post it until the main story has caught up in the timeline so to speak!

My apologies, but at least now I'll always remember where you are from.
*Takes mental note.*

What a beautiful country you've got .
And you guys are used to harsh winters too.

No, I haven't read the Shed's book, I literally just jumped right in.

I was wondering when you would wander in. Especially with a name like that. Boy do you have a lot of reading to do.

But the short and sweet of it is, you just wander...but you have to describe your journey to get here. The first couple of pages should actually give you an idea.

Every now and then, members will add to the story, but a lot of Chit-Chat as well. I like this place. It's a braek from the forest (the other forums).

Welcome to the Shed!

Would you mind telling us about your mum Jane?
What was she like?
Was it her that influenced your spiritual side?

How hot do you like yours?

Five alarm please! As long as the heat doesn't overwhelm the flavor. Some people have a tendency to overdue. (Been there, done that)

A good Chili's heat should creep on you, oh, maybe after 4-5 spoonfuls.
I've gotten pretty good at that.

Och Lassie! Dinna Worry! LOL

It is indeed a beautiful wee country, with often harsh winters...and...summers.... LOL

But I am sooooo excited that I am soon getting the chance to show my fellow shed dwellers a wee corner of it!!!
For we are having a "Gathering" at my holiday place on the Isle Of Cumbrae at the end of May!!! Yeahhh!!!!
Here is a view from my wee Island Paradise! Looking West over Kilchattan Bay, Isle of Bute ->

Yea, winter was rough here this year. It was a tease after tease all winter long. Snow and freezing, then warm, then more snow and then warm again and so on and so on. Mother Nature's messing with my mind! And I don't like it!
