The anti-government demonstrations are the biggest threat President Nicolas Maduro has faced since his election last year. And inside and outside the South American country's borders, there's a major question many are asking: Could this be the beginning of the end for Venezuela's socialist government?
In the violence which followed 2 people were killed. An opposition youth, Bassil Da Costa as well as a revolutionary leader from the 23 de Enero neighbourhood, Juan Montoya. The media have presented Montoya as violent man, part of an armed group. This is false, as in fact he had participated in an initiative to disarm revolutionary groups in the 23 de Enero.
A member of the secret police SEBIN has been arrested in connection to these killings. The head of SEBIN has been removed by Maduro as they had been ordered to stay in barracks and disobeyed their orders.

Great documentary on venezuela from a couple of years back called the revolution will not be televised, the elites are backed by the usa, they are mainly white european stock who have run the country for the last 100 years chavez took there ill gotten gains and dispersed it back to the majority, as of today there were bigger demonstrations throughout venezuela that were pro government and the anti government demos have ceased.......alot of the pictures shown on cnn have been proved to be false look it up, they have been using pictures from the brazilian riots from last year.

They can survive and most likely they will, opposition is a joke in Venezuela and the government just need to unleash their paramilitary group to contain the more radical dissidents.
Haven said this, Maduro is really clueless and he can waste the structure that Chavez build. I say things will be more clear in 2 weeks, carnival is around the corner and that will cool down the protest

Yep how to destroy a country and keep the power, after 2002 he made sure all he did was in order to keep the power and it worked quite well until his death. This the structure I refer
