"A Portrait in Jazz" by Bill Evans is one of the finest albums on the planet. If an intergalactic traveler knocked on my door interested in Earth culture it would be one of the first things I'd share with it. Anything by Evans or Robert Johnson blows my mind each and every time I have a listen.
