As for Greece you should check with Germany, not the IMF.

Care to elaborate on that statement?

Greece has resources and has IMF helped them? Spain? Nope.

Greece has received IMF loans and Spain was on deck to receive them when the EU provided 120billion in aid.

Neither of which has anything to do with the thread.

Does Russia have a right to invade Ukraine? Does the EU / West?

That Greece has received loans from the IMF as well as from Germany, with the bulk coming from German guarantees.

Which has nothing to do with this thread. IMF member nations

As I stated before, a country is not forced to take a loan.

Does Russia have a right to intervene in Ukraine? The EU / West?

You have to be blind not to see what's happening there,

Yanukovich has called upon the international community to stop the radicals from taking power.

“We are facing the threat of a return of Nazism,” the president told UBR channel.

Yanukovich said that he would do everything to stop further bloodshed, and mentioned that 200 regional offices of his Party of Regions have been torched.

An old saying goes, meet new boss, same as old.

From other than twitter sources - yes.

Something that can be verified using facts and not omissions via twitter. Specifically the first image you used with the "Nazi salute".

Are you defending them? are you going to defend this Greek Nazi player as well?

Seems like some of you have forgotten what an Nazi salute looks like. Got more sources if you prefer.

Some of us on here also use sources including things from twitter unless of course if i had posted it from the Protest Side you wouldn't have an issue with that one.

Yet you are still trying to resist supplying the source so we can make up our own mind.

Link / source of pictures please.

Who is the guy with the gun? Government?

If they are undecided why did Ukrainians begin protesting the decision to go with Russia? Or are we seeing a vocal minority?

You are seeing a vocal and violent minority versus another vocal and violent minority.

Both sides combined would account for under 1% of Ukraine's population.

Looks like some people have forgotten what waving to a crowd looks like. And no, I certainly am not going to defend Fascists, whether they call themselves Golden Dawn, Ustache, or United Russia.

And as Ukraine has shown, repeatedly, that they are undecided, what right does either side have to push the issue?

Ukraine needs a friend, not a controller, and so far, that puts the EU and Russia out as they want control, not friendship.

In the past the USSR stuck it's boot up their rear.

Just read the replies so far.

Russia will do this

Russia will do that

Russia wont let them

etc etc etc

That kinda friend?

The alternative is a 'friend' like the EU, which will also be telling them what they can and can't do.

As I quite clearly stated, neither side has Ukraine's interest in mind, just their own, and how control of Ukraine will further their agendas.
