If Oarfish start popping up and a Earthquake soon follows, I'm going to go ahead and say we can now predict some earthquakes.

Can anyone help me copyright that acronym? I kind of like it, but I like beer too.

You can't copyright it. The government will spend $5 Billion to get a group of researchers together for 5 years to study what name would suit the occurrence. They will then come up with the same name you came up with for free in under 2 minutes. It is what it is.

They do seem to be popping up more often. I think they are uber creepy looking myself. We can always blame earthquakes and Fukushima... or maybe an uptick in mating habits?

Then how is that going to help all of us New Madridreans? I don't think there is any oar fish in the Mississippi river. I swear, we never get a break. I guess its back to watching my dog, problem is, she doesn't go off till its almost right on us.
