Four United States Senators have a written a letter to FBI director James Comey about the indictment of author and filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza. Senators Charles Grassley, ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz, and Mike Lee are the four senators, all Republicans, to have signed the letter.

Nothing will come of this, but people do need to take notice. The president does have an enemy list.

And D'Souza is the latest one on it.

From the current administration going after 'whistleblowers' reporters. and the famous IRS targeting of conservatives.

Those vocal critics of the current administration do have targets on their backs, and make no mistake

Once your on the administrations snip list. They will use the 'full weight' of government to come, and get you.

They don't even hide it anymore.

Welcome to mordor or if you prefer Obama does Orwell proud.

For the record those are some good questions. Of course those senators won't get straight answers.

one point - mr d-souza doesn't actually deny the charges - his solicitors ` excuse ` is really quite funny

personally I know more about him because of his Christian apologetics - than his politics - but already had a low opinion of the man

True. but there are political motivations behind it.

It am sure there are lots of other 'scumbags' who are worse than he is.

What made this guy so 'important' ?

Guess the current admin really didn't like his film.

The liberal Allen Dershowitz spells it out well. This stuff is so rampant and often in much, much bigger dollar amounts...does seem suspect when they go after a very harsh Obama critic for $20k.

“The idea of charging him with a felony for this doesn’t sound like a proper exercise of prosecutorial discretion,” Mr. Dershowitz said. “I can’t help but think that [D'Souza's] politics have something to do with it. . . . It smacks of selective prosecution.”

Mr. Dershowitz said the world of politics is rife with the sort of campaign abuses alleged. They’re so common, in fact, he said he himself been called upon to participate in similar arrangements. Mr. Dershowitz said he’s spoken with Mr. D’Souza since the indictment was announced

I hope something comes of this, even just some publicity....but, probably not.

Like everything else this administration does there will be no answers forth coming and D'Souza will be harassed and prosecuted to the fullest.

The complainers are just window dressing, they complain and fade away.

They didn't like that other guy's film either. The one who made Innocence of Muslims. Look what they did to him.

This is a political witch hunt / hatchet job against Obama's enemies. Maybe they should focus on the criminals coming across the border or maybe that guy who was walking all the guns to the Mexican cartels, what's his name Eric Holder.

Oh, he's not on Obama's list.
