The head of the protesters' medical service said 100 people died and 500 were injured in clashes on Thursday, just hours after the government declared a truce in fighting that had shocked world leaders with the deaths of 28 people two days before.
If Thursday’s death toll is confirmed, it would make it the deadliest day in Ukraine since protests began.
Yes, the protest started after the government`s U-turn from the EU agreement. But on November 30th night the group of approx. 500 protesters had been attacked by Ukrainian SWAT named Berkut with unprecendented cruelty. So now we are protesting against our corrupted government. We want changes! We want to be heard by our government! We want to live in a country where no one stays above the law. There's nothing anti-Russian in our protest.
