The description of the shooter given by the surviving victim does not match up with Lanza' s body as found in Room 10, according to this officer's testimony.

The witnesses' accounts just don't match up.

-The only two adult witnesses to actually see the shooter, Natalie Hammond and redacted, described him as ‘wearing a mask’.
-The police, on the other hand, say there was no mask.

-The cops in the school encountering the partially supine, deceased gunman, are initially unsure if he is a victim, due to his ‘small stature’
-One Trooper's account even described the gunman as ‘an adolescent male’.
^These descriptions are kind of difficult to reconcile with an Adam Lanza that, even as malnourished as they claim, had a height of 6'1"

What people claim to have heard over the intercom is another jarring inconsistency.
-Many heard solely gunshots coming from the intercom.
-Kaitlin Roig, during a pause in the shooting, leaves the closet to get her phone, (which apparently was missing from her desk; and she later tells police that she thinks that the shooter entered the room and took her cellphone), and hears people in the office, via the intercom ‘talking about being shot’.
-Others hear arguing.
-Still others hear kids crying and pleading.
-The women in the conference room, the room from which Dawn Hochsprung and Mary Sherlach had just run, which is closest to the two, fated classrooms, didn't hear any children, and thought that the kids were just ‘being good’.

-Multiple people relate the same tale of hearing Rick Thorne, the school's custodian, either yelling at the shooter, or otherwise encountering the shooter.
-Rick Thorne himself, however, says that he never saw him. He just "smelled gunpowder", ran to the gym, and called 9-1-1.

Another statement of Thorne's definitely caused me to raise an eyebrow:

Lastly, Thorne related that as he was being escorted out of the school, he observed two adult females lying in the hallway by the office. Thorne stated that they were near a bench and they both appeared shot. Moreover, Thorne stated that he did not recognize them, but he did notice that one of the females was wearing an orange dress.

-Some places in the report it says that arriving officers assumed that the shooter had killed himself, and that the police fired no shots.
-Elsewhere it states that Lanza was ‘fatally wounded by police’.

Excuse the language, but seriously … wtf?
This is the same report we're talking about. Not a news report. A police investigation report. One that people supposedly spent a year working on.
ATS is right about putting this topic in the [HOAX] and LOL forums.
Just not for the reasons stated.

Now for a detail:
The investigators go interview this one woman, not because she was a witness, but because they found her name on the school visitor's log. She was there to deliver a letter to a teacher, written by her kid, apologizing for cheating on a test. According to the log, she apparently signed-out at 9:32 … directly before the first 9-1-1 call was received.
She sees a dour 60-65 year old man, dressed in dark clothing…

Good points. I am particularly interested in the portion of the trooper's testimony where he describes treating the injured woman in Room #9.

"...the victim, although very emotional, reported the shooter was wearing black and had a mask. This was not what we had observed in Room #10 [where the trooper had just seen Lanza's body]."

Why did the man who shot this woman not match the description of the body [Lanza] found in the classroom?

I'm guessing it is because someone else shot this woman. This person is probably the same one who shot Lanza in the head and possibly shot some or all of the other victims.

Yes, the issue with the mask is a ... pretty big red flag. More than fog of war, since these two different people saw the same thing.

Another problem for me, are the dates of these investigation reports.
Most are (naturally) dated December 2012 and January 2013.
Then there's a trickling of things filed later.

Okay, so what were they doing the entire rest of the year?
Stalling?
What exactly took Sedensky a year's worth of time?
Typing a 48 page “Final Report” replete with a redacted appendix?

And why in God's name would they wait until April 10, 2013, 5 months after the incident, to hand AT&T a search-warrant for the phone records of

1. Nancy Lanza's iPhone,
   
2. Adam's old Samsung cellular phone,
   
3. 36 Yogananda Street's landline house phone.

I also have the names and company who cleaned the Lanza house.

Can't believe any serious researcher couldn't easily find this info in 15 minutes on the web.

Simply read the Newtown PD Field Case Supplemental Report. It's all there, including some stuff about a 2nd shooter and a "confidential informant".

Thank you for the reference. And while I can admire someone actually doing something instead of sitting behind their computer, I have to question your description of their visit as a "runaround". I read their account and I see little in the way of the town's efforts to dissuade them beyond the natural reaction of a town who suffered a gross tragedy and did not want to be a tourist attraction or answer the questions of people they rightfully spotted as "conspiracy theorists".

Does that sound unreasonable? That someone would not want to indulge someone else who came to their town implying the tragedy they suffered was fake?

Beyond that, I don't see what is actually in that article beyond the musings of a couple who are somehow implying a whole town is in on the conspiracy. Did you see anything they uncovered that was actual evidence?

And no, Sandy Hook was not what made me sign up. I've looked very little into this CT which is why I didn't ask any specific questions about it or the claims against it. My interest is 9/11 but I apparently have to build up points to participate in those threads.

Fair that they don't have too, but if you already know that they won't then why ask the question?
What we can do is go off of the released material and question that, as you would see plenty off if you had read through the thread

But this is only ONE person's account! Surely you can't be suggesting that this absolves people of their responsibility to do everything possible to determine the facts before declaring this event faked and that the children never existed. That's incredibly callous! There are public records within the town that would prove their existence. That doesn't require disturbing people's lives.

Which brings me back to the thread topic. For Mr. Halbig to offer his "expert" OPINION on something without doing minimal research ie. visiting the town, IMHO, borders on slander. And, as you say, to find anomalies in the "released material" without attempting to challenge those anomalies is not research but confirmation bias.

But please let me ask you a question: do you believe the whole town is on this? Whether by complicity or silence?

Nope, just that people have indeed done what you said and showing the response that it gets.
Lt. Vance has had some words about it as well.
I am also curious to the reception you would get for trying into the public record of any of the sandy hook victims regardless of what the record is of, as again you would be then intruding into the victims life's which is not allowed. Names would be a start as well.
And no, I don't believe the whole town was in on it
