We have more people dieing from heroin overdoses than traffic accidents. (people wondered why Afghanistan was so important)
Is the CIA running low on funds again ? Cocaine wasn't so bad, and we never had to watch our money working in South America.
I lost count on how many countries we have brought our new freedom to in the last few years.

Just have been showing a bunch of fires in the streets with fireworks and flagbangs going off. I believe whoever is reporting is speaking in Russian, but im not 100% sure.

Opposition leader ex prime minister Oleksandr Turchynov has been shot ( injured? ) by sniper. Police has started new raid in independence Square. Police have used stun grenades and water cannons and several explosions have been heard.

At least 18 people have died, among them 7 police officers.
21 journalists has been injured. No news of amount of injuries in total except the previous 150 which was few hours ago.

Once that word spreads you know the crowds will get themselves into a frenzy couple that with the Heavy handed crackdown this just makes for a bad situation quickly heading downhill even faster.

After being hit by what was reported as a possible rubber bullet shot from a sniper, opposition leader Aleksandr Turchinov tweeted that he suffered a mild face injury, but he is okay. He added that he doubts it was a sniper that was responsible.

A few more updates - There's apparently another death, with the toll at 19 now. Protesters also seized the prosecutor general's office in the city of Lvov.

Rioters have seized the prosecutor general's office in the western city of Lvov, according to local media.

ETA - Looks like a military unit in Lvov was attacked just a minute ago to.

Thirty soldiers were injured, five of them hospitalized, after a military unit in Lvov, Ukraine was attacked, according to local police.

There is four bodies in the Mykhailivsky Cathedral and injured protersters. Streets from Cathedral has been blocked to hamper transportations of the injured ones..
Seems like tomorrow will tell final amounts and most likely it will be ugly numbers

Titushky thugs dispersed on Mykhaylivska square, armed with fire weapons. All traffic to independence square and out has been blocked, metro is shut too.


US Embassador in Ukraine has been seen directing traffic

Another major update. A military base has been overtaken by protesters. The protesters may be in control of all of the military weapons at the base. RT is saying the weapons warehouses are being sealed.

A military base in the western city of Lvov has been seized by rioters, Ukrainian news website UA-RU.info reports. The protesters agreed with the military that troops would leave the base without weapons. Weapons warehouses are now being sealed. A fire is engulfing the barracks.

The Ambassador "directing traffic" needs at least to be taken with a grain of salt until indisputably verified ...I mean given that the Russians tapped the convo with the State Dept. Official and released it to stir up drama.

There is an internal struggle within Ukraine between East/West sympathies ..there is likely just TONS of propaganda and agitprop going around.

They say that there is a traffic jam which is 200 km long.. Quite chaotic.
We don´t know what Ambassor does there.. maybe trying to get home.. who knows

Klitcchko have just come back from "meeting" with Yanukovych. The only what the President want is that protestors leave from Maidan.

All hospitals are overcrowded, there are now more than a thousand wounded.
