Putting one's fingers in one's ears, closing one's eyes and singing "la la la la la la la la" every time climate change is brought up will not make it go away nor change the fact that mankind has had an effect on it.

It is here and we ALL are going to have to deal with it.

So, dear deniers, educate yourselves and please
.

Who is denying anything ?

Intentionally ignore this comment ?

Now look here. The climate has been changing non stop for over 5 billion years. Before this country was ever founded, and before the glorious party Kerry is from was ever created as well.

But please by all means put lip stick on that same old pig of anti corporatism Americans have been hearing for over 100 years.

You know what the problem with your post is here, neo96. Its this:

Wait really ?

'Climate change' ranks up there with 'terrorism' now?

"Up there with terrorism? Oh my." Check this out. www.washingtonsblog.com...

– You are 17,600 times more likely to die from heart disease than from a terrorist attack

– You are 12,571 times more likely to die from cancer than from a terrorist attack

— You are 11,000 times more likely to die in an airplane accident than from a terrorist plot involving an airplane

— You are 1048 times more likely to die from a car accident than from a terrorist attack

–You are 404 times more likely to die in a fall than from a terrorist attack

Until you get to the end, where you can read you are 6 times more likely to get killed by weather than a terrorist attack, at present. So yes, the weather weirdness is already killing more people than terrorism, and if the predictions are correct, it will kill many many more, at an increasing rate. Now If you're argument is that funding more cancer or heart disease research might be a better path, I respect you. But if your argument is that you're shocked that some one is paying attention to weather weirdness instead of terrorists, I'm not impressed.

Think that should be the problem with Kerry's comments.

Guess someone missed the 'scale' of the US government's power.

Not really surprised at the worship of statolatry by 'climate change' pushers.

No considering all anyone has to do is look at what they do with the power they already have.

And 'mitigate' ?

Explain to me how them taking more power, and destroying more business, and redistributing wealth 'mitigates' climate change.

Please by all means enlighten me how people think the US government has the power of mother nature.

Who ever suggested they did?

And I'm not sure where Kerry suggested that "taking more power, and destroying more business, and redistributing wealth" was the answer - perhaps you could point that bit out to me??

They don't.

They have the power of regulation, and taxation that destroys more wealth, and jobs than all of what mother nature has ever done.

Could you please make up your mind whether the US Govt has more power than the weather or not??

Does it really have to be explained that millions of people around the globe earn money from fossil fuel jobs?

DOES IT ?

Intentionally being obtuse ?

The US government has the power of regulation, and taxation, and sanctions that kills wealth, and jobs.

What part of that is someone missing?

They can't control the weather, so they will control people, and world economies.

Think that should be the problem with Kerry's comments.

What, the comparatively low rate of weather deaths? Dude, that's probably people being struck by lightning and killed by hailstones. I'll bet you could find 50 people (seniors, homeless etc) in Boston for every one killed in the marathon bombing, who were just killed by recent colder-than-normal weather. And other things, like agricultural damage, weigh in as far as economic costs... With scientists predicting catastrophes to come.

Its been happening outside my window all day, the weird flood-on, flood-off rain that never used to be here. Something is making the weather weird. Having the government freak out about that makes a lot more sense to me than having the government freak out about some low education radicals with home made bombs.

Good old John Kerry it is his civic duty,
he must have had to pledge allegiance to the AGW crowd to get his position.

Al Gore was on the stage a few years ago with his prophetic
warning...."Global Warming is The New Terror".

Gore is a paid disinformation agent of the AGW crowd,
regurgitating the fraudulent "data" that the AWG congregation
so willingly blindly gloms onto....with his his fevered pitch to
scare monger climate doom porn.

Secretary of State John Kerry drove home a hard line on the threats of climate change Sunday, saying they rank as high as terrorism threat.

Absolutely !!

Terrorism & Global Warming are in fact very big psy-ops and definitely are threatening.

But I think Kerry has a different *20/20/malarkey* agenda in mind.

Climate Change has to potential to drive the human race into extinction. I'd call that a pretty serious threat. When the crops in the heartland fail to severe disruptions in the weather, and millions face starvation, and the collapse of society that results, I'd say that outranks "terrorism" any day - especially given that most of these terrorism threats are manufactured FUD.

The OP couldn't be any more partisan in his post, it reeks of ignorance and political trolling.

100 years from now you will wish more had been done to mitigate climate change due to global warming.

Well, taking a look back, at the way our wonderful government takes on their "wars", mother nature, and the human race are in big trouble.

Let's bomb volcano's, so they can blow anymore. Let's call for "emanate domain" for anyone's property anywhere near a fault. (we don't care where you go, but you can't stay here, to dangerous for you.) Hurry up and develop a new chemical that can "disperse" storms, it's ok if it kills a few people.

Sound ridiculous? To me it sounds right up their alley.

No thanks, government. I'd rather take my chances with mother nature, than with you trying to "fix" things.

. . . . And in other news. . . .

Mother Nature has been placed on a no-fly list and the government is going to put her at Gitmo.

Humans, biologically, will not go extinct. But civilization might.

Take some time to see the museums in Europe. There isn't # left other than crude fortresses between 400 and 1200 in the Western side.

Compare a sculpture from Greece in 300BC or Rome in 150AD to anything later until Donatello. Civilization really can screw it self up massively, and free-market magic doesn't fix it all automatically.

Great give the NSA another 'reason' to spy on you all !

Think about it.

Think hard since all smart appliances have the potential to be used to spy on people.

Their habits, and their 'energy usage'.

you said that is more than weather can do, and then later in eth same post said the US Govt cannot do as much as weather - so I guess it must be you who is missing your own content!

They can't control the weather, so they will control people, and world economies.

See - it wasn't so hard to post something that is quiet clear and actually meaningful - what's more I agree with it!!

Here's the problem I have with climate change - It isn't that the climate is changing. It sort of does that, always has and always will. That's what climate does. It does it so often, that when I learned evolution in school, climate was one of the primary drivers.

The problem I have is that the people behind the push fastened on CO2 which is one of the weakest greenhouse gases, but it happens to be something we all exhale. So, no matter how "carbon neutral" we strive to make ourselves and our lives, we can never get there, will never get there. Heck, we "pollute" just by breathing. So, if we let them tax us for carbon, this is one "sin" tax we will never be able to avoid.

Don't you just love how you can sin in the climate cause?

How long will it be before they tax us for our every breath? Because you know that as the governments of the world get right down to it, they'll tax you for that, too. They'll tax you for simply being alive. So much for having that basic right to life. Now the government is trying to "own" that, too.

I think if you asked most of us, we really don't have a problem with less pollution, but we do have a problem with the notion that government can stop the climate from changing by punishing us for living with a sin tax.

I have lots of problems with 'climate change' and the biggest one of them all is their 'solution' is to push a technology that:

Wait for it.

Wait for it.

Depends on the climate to work!

The climate is changing!
