Stan Romenek Alien Abductee Arrested For Child Pornography

A 51-year-old Loveland man has been arrested on suspicion that he distributed child pornography.

Stanley Romanek was arrested Thursday in the 3900 block of Ash Avenue on felony charges of sexual exploitation of a child.

According to police, the arrest was the result of a months-long investigation into tips provided by the Department of Homeland Security.

Not sure what to say, other than, if he did it, good. Pervs need to be in jail.

They have been investigating him for over 6 months, I doubt this would have happened with weak evidence. They have probably been in his computer more than he has.

However, one thing that disturbs me here is the involvement of DHS. What they hell are they doing in this case? I thought they were there for terrorist threats and the like. Internal interstate criminal activity like this has always been the realm of the FBI.

Dude if this guy is telling the truth and did not hoax anything.This will be major major major crazy stuff going on if they are smearing Him.
All I will say if this is a real case and Stan Romanel is not lying and the DHS is setting Him up spying on His computer this will lead to major major major major major major corruption of the worst kind.Lets hope it is fake and not really real.People are not taking this serious enough.

I agree, but it certainly seemed very fishy to me when it first came out (that's my personal opinion).

Not every person who pushes an alien encounter story who later gets arrested for doing bad things is getting smeared. Sometimes they are simply bad people in the first place, and that's why their alien encounter stories smell of being a hoax (such as Romanek's alien story).

Other than looking at the silly peek-a-boo Alien video and perhaps listening to the opinion of a special effects professional I guess nobody other than Stan knows for sure , but I think the weight of evidence says it is fake unless you choose to believe it isn't.
Here's the opinion of Mechanical Animator and Special Effects Guy Steve Biggs.

Did you notice the way the puppet exited the shot? It looks like someone simply turned the stick and "walked" the puppet away. Where any of those movements natural? No, on several levels. The biggest giveaway is the fact that the alien got shorter. Maybe he was walking downhill, but I doubt it. The puppeteer couldn't decide if he wanted the head to go down or across, so he did both. Did you notice the puppet didn't pivot his head, just turned his body like a SouthPark Cartoon. OK, maybe he's got a stiff neck from the long ride in space. If you watch carefully you can see the weight shift in the puppeteers hand. The head is top heavy and it would be impossible to hide that without any mass to support it.

Ok if this man is a child predator and not one single major news network reports this it will make it all the more crazy and make me think the government is smearing people to hide aline cover up.I remain very skeptical of Mr.Romanek though.

I'm not sure if this is story is worthy of a major news network. People get arrested for child porn all the time without making the news. Granted, Stan Romanek is a little (very little) more "known" than the average alleged predator, but I don't think his very slight notoriety is enough to make major news outlets really care about his arrest.

It could make for a minor article in some print/online newspapers (one of those minor one- or two-paragraph stories deep inside a newspaper), but that might only be because of his slight "infamy" he gained among the Aliens and UFO crowd due to the way he handled his peek-a-boo alien encounter.
