Anyone who believes this

err yes they may be greedy, but the only reason you can afford that new iphone every christmas is because of the capital empire that they built.

has been completely and totally brainwashed.

The corrupt bankers and politicians have not built anything, but a massive pile of debt, with themselves named as the creditors, from which all their supposed wealth exists.

Which is why they are so paranoid.

Another house of cards that is doomed to crash, like the last.

You yanks have got guns. why don't some of you get together and use the cctv cams as target practice? Same with those drone things, lock 'n' load and blow them out of the sky.

We Brits don't have guns, but kids round where I live have been blinding cctv cams with paintballs or disabling them altogether with BB's, and virtually all the cctv cams in my town are damaged/inoperable. New ones are smithereened just minutes after the damaged ones are replaced, so now the local authority doesn't bother replacing them.

For "kids" read "little scumbag crims in training" who target the cameras so that they can prey on the rest of us unobserved.

Not everything is about the "1%" and the "surveillance state" - we ordinary "99%"s are the people that CCTV helps to protect...

That might be the case, when it comes to traffic safety cams or public squares.

That's not the case here, with this lower manhattan facility. This is pure big bank paranoia, it's point is to let the big banks spy on wall street. The fact that the big banks carved up OWS and drove them off is proof how well the system works.

What this story did was expose the connection between the CIA and JPMorgan. I'm still processing the graft between NYPD and JPMorgan. you always figure it's there, but then when you see it in black and white and how crude it is, you gotta wonder if these people have any scruples at all.

Hang em all.

Out in the country yeah I agree, but these cameras are in downtown NYC.
Needless to say this is not an option there.

I can think of a lot of other ways to take out a street-level CCTV camera, rather than shooting it - I'm sure most people are reserved about shooting up a camera in a dense city out of concern for their fellow citizen. Maybe the next focus for protests is to take out those cameras. Problem is, the cameras are only a small percentage of the real surveillance taking place.

The point is making a statement that we don't like it. shooting the cameras makes a rather loud statement, does it not? A pellet gun would suffice to prevent harm from others.

You deserve an applause for these words.

Shooting CCTV cameras is so John Wayne... too wild west. Its a 21st Century problem, so use a 21st C. solution.

If those people are doing anything illegal or against the publics constitutional rights why dont the people get together and use the army we pay for to perform a citizens arrest on the corrupt bankers and politicians who are the real terrorists against the American peoples freedom and prosperity.

err yes they may be greedy, but the only reason you can afford that new iphone every christmas is because of the capital empire that they built. everyone wants to scream about america's greed and injustice until they take away your latte, your smartcar, your smartphone, and oh yea those four corners and a roof you live in.

That stuff would be made regardless, they are no emperor or saint for being the first to pluck a determinable pattern of material from the ether of potential. I am all for intellectual property. But these people arent heros, the uber rich who are infinitely greedy and causing stirs like this, are scum, the world would be better off with them all dead, or their money burned or spread. It would be a righteous sacrifice.

Those people look like they have such cosy jobs! The sheep that watch the sheep. Now ideally we will get to a point where every single living person is hired by the spy agencies and then human life is boiled down to sitting behind a computer and spying on the person you are associated to.

Here is a great message about how they did it all. They like to rub it right in our faces...

from your source:

There are two significant stories at the surveillance center at 55 Broadway. The first is that the largest police force in the country has secretly deputized as its partners the same giant Wall Street firms that are serially charged with looting the public but never prosecuted, no matter how big the crime. The second significant story is that the largest police force in the country has tapped the public coffers to the tune of $150 million to operate what legal experts say is an illegal program.

an ILLEGAL PROGRAM, being funded by taxpayers, giving private institutions like Wall Street banks "unprecedented" access to intelligence for their own use.

now where is my pitchfork?

now ask why tea party sites or Fox news routinely avoid these topics but spend absurd amounts of time on bashing gays or womans rights.

We now have the “too-big-to-fails” operating with impunity as a result of an incestuous, if not outright unconstitutional relationship where the banks are acting as operational assets for the CIA, the NYPD, and other intelligence and police agencies.

canadafreepress.com...
This is a good article but in it is this statement above that I believe is incorrect. Perhaps he made a error here because the opposite to me is the truth....The NYPD and CIA work for the Banks.

What you don't understand is that "ANY" ACT against the government is now seen as an act of domestic terrorism a law that directly contradicts the constitution. That will be employed in America as domestic terrorism. I will openly qualify myself a "domestic terrorist" if I believe that my government is no longer of the people, but purely tyrannical, every gover and has secrets, but no democratic American government should be anything but by the people for the people.

Nah, it's just the simple logistics of shooting/destroying a wirelessly connected camera. That's sort of like delivering an annoymous statement in person or sending out change of address notifications when you go into the witness relocation program.

So what does this have to do with the dead bankers?

and yes, the bank / government are connected at the hip and they are out to screw us all.....but that isn't something new.

Can we use a different term than the 1%. The 1% consist of entrepreneurs, my boss, and my siblings. It also subconsciously put u into a class warfare mindset. The term elites or .00001% would be more suitable.

Wall St. and the US intelligence services are symbiotic. Webster Tarpley is banging on this tambourine all the time. Doors revolve between the financial and intelligence services with executives moving back and forth.

This is probably true the world over, not just in the US, but here on this website, we are trying to see things as they are, not as they are advertised, so it's news.

In America, corporatism is becoming naked fascism. The frogs are getting ever warmer. Dr. Jekyll is turning into Mr. Hyde.

It's there to force our total compliance with the whims of conservative billionaires that have hijacked this government through corruption and monied influence.

Do you even have the ability to approach a topic in a non partisan way?

It's a valid call, since the 1% are making sure that every attempt to reign them in, regulate their excesses or hold them accountable is decried as Marxism or socialism. Only the so-called conservatives are sufficiently obsessed with fending off "socialism" to respond to that sort of goading.
