Eventual lasers will be the only thing effective against combat armor. With the advancements in nano fiber projectiles wont have the force to punch through. because even armor piercing require kinetic energy and using gunpowder there is just a limit on how fast you can get a projectile moving. So i see the future battle field using laser, plasma beams and rail guns.

I would think it would be like the laser in the movie "Congo" or the same effect that is was shown to do.Armor would have to have reflective micro prisms in a ceramic nano material to disrupt the bean's attenuation.

You make a good point every time we invent something someone else invents a way to stop it.Radar the thing that won world won two is now obsolete, Eventually bullets will be ineffective. we designed equipment to intercept rockets. I guess the trick will be remain ahead of the curve.

Yeah they say "suit" right now, but as soon as the tech works, they will take the man out of it and just have suit drones and no one will know if theres a man in them or not.

THATS the terrifying truth and aim behind this.
