SLAYER69 posted a thread HERE with a youtube vid about the Great Pyramid. People in the uk were saying it wasn't available to be viewed by them. The reason given was that the person who uploaded it didn't make it available for the UK.

I've just had a look on youtbe and discovered that it doesnt even show up when I search for it.

I can understand the uploader might have control over who can view it, but to be completely missing from the search is rather suspicious!

For the UK this vid doesnt exist!

Or simply because the copyright owner has assigned the rights to other media, eg tv channels. It's their intellectual property and they can do what they like with it.

Yep. Copyrights.

Copyrights maybe, but why is it missing from the search?
If slayer had not posted it I would not even know it exists!

Quick tip for all UK / Europeans who can't see videos on YT (or anywhere else for that matter), simply because you're not online in the USA...use a USA proxy.

Easy-peasy.

Just set your browser to use a USA based proxy server (there are loads of free to use proxy servers) and all these video sites will think you're viewing from the USA.

Ahh...is see truthseeker has beaten me to it, nice one.
