Gunslinger [Feb2014]

My language lingers thou my dear
done thee unjust albeit sincere
so fair enough I must confess
my inner struggle more or less
for poetry is not my thing.

Afresh thou love within my words
although a well of pain endures
I would not taunt and go along
to jabber such in native tongue
since poetry is not my thing.

Thou seest my lacking so I guess
that thy art incomplete alike
or art thou good a friend and thus
believing firm applaud thy must

Whilst poetry is not my thing
I gun for thee and pray to win.

i saw the title and thought it was gonna be about " The Gunslinger".

if you don't know who this is, he is the main character in stephen kings Dark Tower series. the first book is The Gunslinger.
if you haven't read them i suggest that you might like them.

That's what I thought about too!

I thought that to. I highly recommend reading the series also.

It is an epic tale. The best work Stephen King has done. His "Magnum Opus" as he calls it.

Nice poetry tho.
