To track Saturn, or look up tide-times.
When your knowledge of texts is a book on a shelf
And a 'ringer's" a dead look-a-like.

When you stare at the floor as the other girls talk;
Try denying the looks they all share!
So you sneak out the back and you lie through your crack;
'I don't care', I don't care!, I don't care!'

When you log on the net but your post is unseen
'Cause they've noticed you've little to say.
So you check out the news and you offer your views
But the thread died a death yesterday.

Yet it isn't all bad, I can share, I can share
If I take it one line at a time.
If I practice real hard, make them rhyme (and on time!)
I can shine! I can Shine! I can shine!

I just feel this from the bottom of my heart
I'm not rhyming today cause I find it fun
Some girls looks can be quite odd
Just look the other way and lift your chin high
I always say one day at a time

I spent my youth, well let's say it was 'hazy', but I can still remember a few things from my higher Latin (I wasn't allowed to do maths or sciences due to being too thick!).
