Off the top of my head:
-Dress it up in baby clothes and wheel it around in a baby carrage.
-Spray paint it in day-glo and strap it to your back. If people ask you about it, say innocently, "What giant sea horse? Are you going crazy?"
-Mount it on your car hood like a freshly killed deer

Its hard to part with my sea horse but would you consider the ceremic kitten running up the front of my house.

Put a blazer and a beret hat on it, stick a cigar in its mouth, and sit it in the chair on the front porch.
