Then... I would think you've just become a suspect in a kidnapping/and/or possible homicide.

From the perspective of the investigating police officer standing in your door way.

But yer not a Killer...you dont know what happened to yer best friend...you were the last person to see him.... but there was that light..???

They'll just make you take a lie detector test and the investigations will continue, questions, etc.

I would say I had just a little too much to drink and wasnt comfortable driving so he dropped me off and I was going to pick up my car later that day . Then I'd try and find him myself.
