Indeed. That site is from the stone ages! I remember when they started that. As I remember it those that got approved as ATS journalists got credentials and everything. It would have been cool. I wonder why it died.

Sadly, it died because it cost us money and never presented an ROI after our star (Johnny A.) was no longer able to continue being the anchor.

The "member journalist" thing just never created any content we could work with, it's not easy to go out and get news, produce a compelling piece replete with graphics and snappy writing. Not easy at all.

If I were to be candid I'd admit that was one of my dreams for ATS that died a heartbreaking death.

If only we had the financial staying power of the MSM.

It was/is an excellent idea. You never know what the future holds.. or who is watching. There is certainly an interest in "alternative" subjects among people youd have not guessed these days.

An ATS radio station would be so cool.

Yep, Sheep is right... and the Survival show is pretty great too. These guys are a lot of fun to listen to and informative. They encourage participation and you can call in to the show. Also, we all get into chat ( though I havent recently) and talk while its on. Good bunch of folks!!

Yup, the stream runs 24/7 and if there is not a show on, Nef runs some of the best Creative Commons tunes for your enjoyment.

How often is there actually ATS discussion on ATS radio?

If you go to the site and click on each show, it will give you the times each show airs.

But if you want something right now, every show has a "Rewind Player" that allows you to listen to previous shows.
