What's the root cause of the global financial crisis?

Well one Chinese man says it's the U.S. Dollar and the reckless ways the U.S. is handling money.

He states that the U.S. Dollar era is coming to an end !!

Justin Yifu Lin says the answer to the problems is a one world global currency.

And he says a global currency should replace national currencies.

But he says the Chinese currency isn't the one either.

He says the U.S. Dollar will fall soon because China in particular is overtaking the global economy in several ways.

And, the U.S. Treasury market will not be alive for too much longer.

Interesting Article;

The former chief economist at the World Bank, Justin Yifu Lin, is advising the Chinese government that the time has come for a single global currency. Lin, who is also a professor at Peking University, says that the U.S. dollar “is the root cause of global financial and economic crises” and that moving to a “global super-currency” will bring much needed stability to the global financial system. And considering how recklessly the Federal Reserve has been pumping money into the global financial system and how recklessly the U.S. government has been going into debt, it is hard to argue with his logic. .....

In fact, China is already surpassing the U.S. in a number of key areas…

-China accounts for more global trade than anyone else in the world.

-China imports more oil from Saudi Arabia than anyone else in the world.

-China imports more oil overall than anyone else in the world.

-It is now being projected that Chinese GDP will surpass U.S. GDP in 2017.

When the rest of the world quits using U.S. dollars to trade with one another and quits lending our dollars back to us at ultra-low interest rates, things are going to start changing very rapidly.

The sooner it is done the better... even for Americans things just can't remain the same for long, it will hurt but the longer it takes the worst it will get with the QE madness at least if the dollar drops they will have to make some tough decisions and end the kicking of the can...

The next century is China's time for better or worst and it was all setup by the American multinationals (that controls the Government) it became too clear since Clinton.

I think a global currency and some sort of global government is the way the human species will "get a head". Not this NWO crowd but the actual "people" calling the shots. Can't see it going down like that but who knows.
Or a common enemy of man where we are all forced on one side for survival.
Wish it wasn't like this but really can't see another way our species will advance.

American currency , its only a matter of time before its not the reserve currency.

The central bank's current currency wars will lead to trade wars, which ultimately lead to all out war. War is the inevitable consequence of the current global economic situation.

There will be no peace. At any given moment for the rest of our lifetimes, there will be multiple conflicts in mutating forms around the globe. Violent conflict will dominate the headlines, but cultural and economic struggles will be steadier and ultimately more decisive.

The de facto role of the US armed forces will be to keep the world safe for our economy and open to our cultural assault. To those ends, we will do a fair amount of killing. Oh, and one other dirty little secret from 5,000 years of history, Ethnic cleansing works.

This is quite true but most people listen to the talking heads. The Chinese are being used like a cheap prostitute being lead down the primrose path for a $10 bill. In the end they will find themselves in a cheap hotel all alone knowing they just got screwed and lied too. Here you have a professor telling them the truth that it isn't going to be the RMB but a global super currency. The only thing he didn't mention was that the banks have been using it for 20 years already and that all banks have it.

Will the dollar go the way of the Dodo, yep, sure will and it has been planed to do so since 1913. Does that mean that the US will no longer be top dog...well yes and no. The US will continue in its role as the worlds policeman as it has done since 1953 but instead of being backed by the dollar, it will be backed by the world currency. If you wonder why the US and not China or Russia, it's because the US will do what it's told to do, no questions asked and the others won't.

On a side note, no one seems to pay attention to symbology anymore yet it does have meaning. China says it is a Dragon, Russia a Bear but the US has two, the Eagle and Uncle Sam a man. Which rules the world, a Dragon, a Bear or Man? Haven't seen any dragons lately and bears run when they get the sent of man. Almost 2000 years ago it was foretold that the nation that will be the worlds enforcer had two wings of an eagle but stood on its feet as a man. Sorry China, that is no you.

I am not an economist, or have any economic training and very little knowledge. But it does feel like the next step is a world currency, yet one which has to be fair to everyone. So in arranging that, the American dollar and all other currencies will have to be given both time and compromises which will assure that all of their economies are strong and as healthy - even more healthy - than before the changeover. How this will be done will be left to those in power, but I'd bet a few earthcoins that that scenario has been game-planned to perfection.

A bad idea.

Currency is an indicator as to how a country is doing, economically.

It's laws, values, socio-economic approach all factors into how a country's currency measures up to another country's currency.

In order to "uniform" currency, you would (by default) have to standardize the laws, values, socio-economic approaches of every country.

Just look at the EU and the Euro!

~Sorry To Tell You~
even a forthcoming global currency or basket of hard asset/ real resource backed world trade currency will only have a useful lifetime of 'maybe' 50 years

see, any global currency. be it a U.S.Dollar/petro-Dollar or a China Interntional Yuan or even a BRICSS basket of gold-backed currency would not be able to sustain itself...
the finance & trade/banking Kingdoms have had to create Derivatives as the next evolutionary step from the ancient formula of toiling by the sweat-of-the-brow for a subsistance Day of pay as the basic 'money' paradigm

Real wealth & money are now un-obtainable by the 99%...only constantly debased currency is available to the 99% masses

And the Autocrats/Globalist elites aim to keep-it-that-way

any new global means of trade & exchange & possibly wages or compensation are already outdated, obsolete....
the concepts of a persons' 'green-footprint' and One's DNA Genome, along with something akin to Carbon-Tax will be needed to create a universal "Credit" like the digital credits used in the Star Trek series.

but the de-Americanization of the World's finance systems has begun already, & Washington/NY Fed has been warned...
what do you think the QE Tapering is all about---and the new MyRA treasury bond accounts is all about---what you think that Øbamacare lays the groundwork for --- (when One runs out of 'credits' its off to the euthanasia building)

i can't really say that the world community tossing out the USD precedes the American Banks & IRS/Treasury seizing bank accounts and IRAs - retirement accounts...or the the other way around...
but it is theorized that 2014 or 2015 will see these two world changing events take place

have an exit strategy is the theme for the year-of-the-horse (2014)

Very astute! I remember reading a sci-fi book where citizens wore street cams on their heads, recording everything. Crime was eliminated.

At what point does the human outlive its usefulness to society and off to euthanasia?
Built in death timer ala the movie "In Time". Bread and circuses like the "Hunger Games"

We see how cheap prison labour is used in the US to great profit for the select lucky Corporations.

What US dollar? Does he mean the Federal Reserves dollar because America doesn't have any money the Chinese should know that after all look at all the money we have borrowed from them. And China may want to look at what happened to Iraq when they wanted to stop using the dollar.

I don't think an all out WW3 makes any sense to any of the major players out there. The benefits don't outweigh the risks.

The military man in the post up there says multiple evolving conflicts... it'll stay proxy on the ground, else abstract against the main players for a while, maybe indefinitely.

As for the US losing reserve currency status. It's not really possible until people find a better alternative. The US military will defend the reserve currency status, by any means necessary. We will cut off ties with people who oppose our will.

As for China rising up and over the US... that has yet to be seen. China has some internal issues that far exceed the US. Just look at all their smog, gutter oil, and plastic rice, YUCK!!

Now, 20-30 years from now? Who has a clue. I'm not even going to mention the climate change angle anymore, suffice it to say it's too complex of a situation to know for sure who remains dominant (if any dominance can be had) as we approach mid-century.
