Like silk dipped in honey,
And a taste for a well crafted rhyme,
Your delivery is stunning,
Sets my spine to thrumming,
Keeping listeners mesmerized,

And you are a poet,
And if you don't know it,
Well Madame, that would be a crime,
Your talents are many,
Failings? Not any,
You are a winner every time,

If there was any doubt,
Who I am talking about,
Then those doubts cannot be ignored,
I speak of the wonderous,
The amazing and stupendous,
The one and only AboveBoard!

I just want to remind folk out there, that you don't have to be a bard to send your messages! Heck, I've posted just words and vids!....So come on peeps, fingers to keyboards either directly on the forum or via me....get your appreciations out there!

The weekend it will be

The kids at her school (hereafter known as condoms) put paid to any plans I had

I'm doing my best though, just cooking her dinner and running a nice bath, candles all at the ready, and her favourite music cued up.

Knowing my luck it'll be "Ahhhhhhh I'm soooooo relaxed now babes thank you.....................please take out the rubbish"

Really? REALLY???
Are there really men who do stuff like that for women?
I see romantic men on tv and in movies, but I came to the conclusion that it was all fantasy...and that 'in real life' men just aren't that romantic.
(at least that has been my experience)

All I know is that tomorrow will be just another day for me. No card, flowers or chocolate. Certainly no bath and candles.
Yes...I'm feeling sorry for myself a bit.

Yeah, there definitely are!

Its not even that much effort, really, and it can help someone feel special and happy. Why not?

You can always do those things for yourself too. Might not be the same thing, but it can be just as relaxing and peaceful!
