Everything was fine on top of this friggin mountain earlier but when we got down to the valley there was an inch of snow! Very weird indeed.

Yeah we're fine as well, but on the road to work on Friday there was a car actually floating on the other side !

It's mental and it's getting worse by the minute.

I love this trend of poetry,
You really have it nailed.
The verse's here have potency,
Be they bold or veiled.

Note to self - spelling mistake in poetry? Really?!

I know, I think she thinks I control the weather!

I'm from Glorious Zooport, I mean er, Newport. Now I'm looking down on Pontypoo, or Pontypool as the locals call it.

Well, its a good thing you are higher up then!

Although you will be exposed to a greater strength of wind, at least you wont be floating down your road, with a cat standing on your head, wondering where your house went!

I just saw now that an area of Crewe is being evacuated because of power lines being down. Not saying it is but I thought it could be because they are in water.

There are definitely upsides to being up here but like I said in the Massive Storm thread, I', afraid of landsliding onto the neighbous! There house has no foundations, theres mines in all direction and theres a hole in the attic roof, just above my head. And I still had the audacity to criticise people living by volcanos.

I remember going to a match when they were great in the 80's but I wasn't around when they were Superstars. My Dad used to watch them though. I was never allowed to support anything Newport lol.

This is one from where I was born. Invite to all...

Ignore the bit about curly teeth.

This is an amazing song done last year in Pontypool park, it made me cry.

I recently discovered FreeStockPhotos to get free pics. Sooo much easier than with Google. With Google it always comes up encryped for me. Probably just me though.

Just thin plastic sheeting, I painted over the wet patch on the ceiling and it was back in a few days. It's on the North side of the house though so it could be a lot worse.

I don't think the landlord can get anyone to go up there though, it's gusty up here on a mild day!

Blimey!

Just a thin plastic sheet? Can the landlord not get someone up into the attic to fix it from within, in a temporary fashion?
I would have payed my landlord one of "those" visits by now (and by "those" I mean, the ones where the first he knows of your presence, is when he awakens in the darkness of his bedroom, to find you standing in the only shaft of light coming in through the gap between the curtains, at which point you ask, in your best serial killer voice "So... when are you going to fix my roof?") if put in the same position as you are in!
