A new and exciting life you'll lead.

Great things for you life has in store.
New love will find its way to you,
Like nothing that you ever knew.

This is the road that you must take,
A step in life that you must make.
And in the end he will regret,
The biggest mistake that he's made yet.

He'll realize what a fool he's been,
But it will be too late by then.
You'll have found a love so grand,
In the arms of another man.

You are worth so much more,
You should be showing him the door.

Well... This thread has been a departure from my point of view. The first Valentines messages I have ever received, and apparently setting trends as well! I am properly outside my comfort zone!

A drink or two (not a full drink, literally just a sip or two) of any alcohol results in a migraine that lasts the rest of the day!
Ill take a water though!

That stuff aint so bad!

I understand completely,
Booze gives me a migraine too...
Water isn't as romantic,
But for us, will have to do...

So I raise my water bottle,
In a toast to you my friend...
May your life be all you wish for,
Love and laughter til the end...

Well I have news people.

I was going to spend Valantines day minding my own business on ATS but I have been asked out to a gig by a man.

My Cousin.

I am going to spend the night getting confused as my cousins girlfriend. Joy.

Why o why could they not be playing on the Saturday, it would be so much more appropriate.

So anyway, if you are single and alone on Valentines spare a thought for those of us that are about to do away with the last morsels of street cred.

I will prob be here Friday day and Saturday, I would have withdrawals if I stayed away to long.

I have invited a friend along aswel, she loves reggee and it's her b-day the day after so it's all good.

I can't remember the last time I let my hair down properly.

A Song of Fire and Ice is quite the trance
Longing for respite from the inevitable dance
Firewater is not part of this foray
But water and fire will find their way

Water and fire can get quite steamy
But, you see, this isnt the only story
The fire in canada and the water in the US
Are not likely to have ever met

But through the wonders of technology
One has parted the sea of matter utterly
Allowing the ice to turn into water
So it can finally get some things started

Being in love is undoubtedly a noble goal
But the cosmic dance of life is so much more
Even though we may not be with the "One"
We can still show Love for each and every-one

Through our actions, we can radiate it as a star
Given enough time, it might take humanity far

This really could work

I suggested this a while ago in another thread

Why don't we meet at smallish music festival, let's say Cornbury, It's clean well organised and a bit retro.

We can drink, have music, dance like maniacs, and generally get to meet up, there's space if one of us needs it, and an atmosphere that only a music festival can provide.

There's room in in my tent for 2 more and booze or 4 more and a challenging route to the toilet.

Just a thought

I only get enough time off in a year to go to one rock festival, and due to my particular taste in music, I always go to Bloodstock Open Air, at Catton Hall in Derbyshire. It just offers the best, most brutal music, at the best possible price. Its well nigh a ritual these days.

I just have one small problem....
It's approximately 3,000 miles of ocean....between here and there. (No road....no knees in the breeze!)
