Just thought I would pass along a drone's view of the "parking lots" in Birmingham earlier this week.
www.liveleak.com...
Some times we just need to step back and enjoy the sites.

O K My bad I am speaking of B'ham, Alabama, U.S.A.
(just want to save some confusion for those who didn't hear about the ice and snow)

You should have put Alabama in your thread title.
I thought you where referring to the "original" Birmingham England.

The entire town must have been one sheet of ice. There wasn't much snow that I could see, an inch or two at best, so the problem was the ice.

Personal story: I was almost killed in one of those ice storms once while on a bus which was sliding down a hill next to a long drop-off. The driver had all us passengers going from one side of the bus to the other to stabilize her maneuvers as we slid slowly down the hill, at a few points getting wayyyyy too close to the edge of the drop off for my taste. Lived to tell the tale here (two hours later I was sitting in Dr. Martin Luther King's old office admiring the desk and surroundings he used during the Montgomery Bus Boycott).

You could just edit it into the title, until the time for editing runs out on your original post.
