I suppose, although I am sad that the respondent didn't even address the points I brought up. To claim that he has been "blocked" in means no other President has is a far stretch. Maybe his proposals are that bad that Congress just doesn't want to even deal with them?

With that, I am not discounting the fact that Congress on a whole has been insanely asinine in its business; both House and Senate and it is because they are grasping for the retention of their power they hold. They feel the pressure from the bottom (us plebes) on their inaction via political expediency.

Onto more how this translates into Executive proposals, they are just that, suggestions. The President doesn't make law (as others believe he does). I would prefer a legislature that actually took a year to go through current "law" on the books and determine its effectiveness; but that is, as Mario would say, a pipe dream.
