Tribes doesn't die, it just withers down to the few hundred people that get close to the skill ceiling until the next one comes out

On topic, as an avid Planetside 2 player, SOE is the last company you want to make this game. Expect to pay around 100-150 bucks to really enjoy this title, as they have completely gone off the deep end as far as their F2P system goes. They will nickel and dime you for SC at EVERY SINGLE TURN. They still make really fun games, just be forewarned before you get let down by the prices. Ahhh, for the days when you could just sub to these games instead of getting gouged....Free to play needs to die, unless everyone copies Valve's system (which won't happen).
