I would hate to be a UKian in Canada at the moment because the Canadians have banned Iron Bru, Marmite and Penguins from their shelves due to it all containing Ponceau 4R which causes hyperactivity (Isn't that a good thing?).
I love a Marmite butty and my five year plan of moving over to canada isn't looking good because of this
.

www.bbc.co.uk...

At least you ban all USA milk and stuff, have you seen the state of that #?.

What will they say next? A good ol' British cup o' cha is poison? Ha codswollop!

(NaturalNews) A damning new report on Celestial Seasonings' line of 'all natural' teas reveals that 91 percent of the teas sampled contained pesticide levels that exceeded U.S. federal limits.

I agree with this ban and anyone caught with this product should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Marmite is poison in a jar. I fully agree with the banning of Marmite & wish every country would follow.

On a side note; Sometimes my girlfriend eats loads of Marmite & then kisses me. For about 5 to 10 minuets I am contemplating murder.

I HATE Marmite

I'm a Canadian and have never heard of bars of marmite and penguins, hope to heck it has nothing to do with eating these wild creatures because that would be a crime.

Impossible!

It's made in Scotland from GIRDERS!

As to Marmite, it is Satan's feces.

I used to work wor 7/11 here in Canada and I remember selling im-bru drink while working their.....

So does that mean that 7/11 is/was Illegally importing and selling that product 3 years ago.

Also artifical added vitamins really do not do any good for you. Lots of scientists are starting to release that info.

In the end its just a food product.

Im sure that England and its surrounding countries all have their own lists of banned products, so to single out Canada like that is a little harsh.

There are plenty of drinks and spreads here in Canada that you can buy.

We wouldn't be alowed to bring meat products from Canada to another country so why should it be ok for another country to do the same to us?

There are bigger problems in this world then worrying about what softdrink or spread is not sold in Canada and start worrying about how the world is slowly becoming '1984'
