Are ghosts really just aliens?

So I guess this contemplates that there could be ghosts of aliens. Another angle to consider in addition to ghosts themselves being a separate "species" existing on (or visiting) our planet.

I think the theory is that the aliens facilitate the spirit communication via EVP's. No expert on this at all but heard a podcast many years ago and there is a well known EVP investigator in Brazil who has EVP's stating the aliens were facilitating the EVP communication with the lost loved one's via some communication device piercing the veil between our world and the spirit world. Like i said it was many years ago and don't remember her name but they played some of the EVP's on the podcast.

Also heard one of the famous abduction authors - Strieber or Dave Jacobs bring up the same thing - aliens & ghosts are connected somehow - whether or not it's the aliens escorting people back to our dimension using their technology.

That's about all i know on the subject - not really my cup of tea. Do know the alien people don't want to hear about ghost's and ghost people don't want to hear about aliens but some people have connected them.

It really requires an acknowledgment or comprehension that there could be extraterrestrials so different than humans (e.g., not flesh and bone) that they do not fall within the traditional beliefs regarding aliens.

I totally agree with that.

Too bad Men ruined that and invented religion and evil aliens.

Well...I was playing on the obvious as the OP said it was a "random thought".

As both terms have definitions very different in a variety of dictionaries...Im going with those as to making them completely different things.

I guess my point was notwithstanding the dictionary definitions and traditional viewpoints, what if what people perceive and define as ghosts/spirits, etc. are actually aliens. A bit of out of the box thinking that requires acknowledgment that other "life" may not be in any way similar to humans (e.g., not flesh and bone).

Now that is something I can agree with you on. I believe ghosts and spirits are real and energies...brought about by various influences, situations and circumstances little understood. Just as a "UFO" being something that's flying thats unidentified...(could be a flock of seagulls), or "ALIENS" as someone not native to the current location (could be from another country). Look at the "illegal alien" issue at the Mexico-US borders.

"Spirits" and "Ghosts" are much the same-different meaning to different people at different times in different places. Like 'Aliens" and "UFOS". They could be anything to anyone. Its like in regards to me.

Im an American who is a Michiganian who's a First Responder as an Emergency Medical Tech and Emergency Response Team Member who is an Emergency Dispatcher.

In those definitions? Im am all of them, and not just one of them...but then again? I can be referred to as any-one of them!

Maybe ghosts and spirits, aliens and the like are all the same thing? That could very well prove your point!

One day we will be able to manipulate energy giving us the ability to do things we think to be magic. Maybe these "ghosts" are extraterrestrial sent here banished from there haven. Almost as if they were once "angels" of a higher power which includes the one that created us. (Not that it literally created everything, but just certain life on earth.) This may explain their deviant and playful behaviour. Pretending to be people that have passed in our lives, or just plain ol' terrorizing us.

The only way to travel through space as fast as we'd like without running into physical #, would be to travel as energy, such as many UFO sightings seem to be. Just a ball of energy. They could be a life form that is made up of energy even. We have life that lives off of carbon here. If something can live off of carbon, I'd hope something could live off of energy. Dark matter, atoms, ect. Who's to say they don't have a skin made from some sort of matter, but with the benefit of it being able to fully change shape. The ability to work with light to make us see it here n' there or with cameras. And children being sensitive to energy, they're able to see them too.

This is all just thought up on the spot as a completely winged theory that should not be taken as my personal belief. Just a thought! It's called ..?

... Oh yes! Being open minded, and not having full beliefs in things that have no evidence, yet knowing there's always a possibility until proven 100% otherwise!

I had the same thought,typed that thought in and your thought came up.there are 11 known demension that we don't even sort of understand how they operate,look,or sound. We here voices in our home poltergeists who's to say all of these ghostly encounters aren't just light beings skipping through our demension and getting stuck we think of spirits as people but we were made in the image of the annunaki according to sumer Ian texts so maybe we believe they heaven bound earthlings when infact it's just an advanced species perhaps one like us skipping through demensions the. Same way we would walk through a waterfall. The demonic scenes you see in movies definitely have a feeling of "resistance is futile" feel to them.

What if instead of ghosts being seen as something posing as our dead they are our dead. Our species seemed to come about just like that. Society, civilisation just appeared, our species even just appeared, a missing evolutionary link. There are enough theorists who think our DNA is a result of manipulation by Aliens, what if it wasn't the physical beings we know of, but a race of energy beings seeking a means to live in this dimensional state. Our cells are bombarded with radiation that can cause cancer ( genetic mutation) everyday. Too much Sun can cause skin cancer, smoking lung cancer, but if administered just right what could happen? There is evidence of ancient civilisations that have advanced technology, a greater understanding and knowledge, there are those that can recall their past lives, there are those that know their loved ones are around them having seen them, and there are those that can communicate with the dead and other higher life forms. Ancient Egyptian Pharohs believed that they would return home to the Orion system when their bodies died, there is a massive belief that death is not the end. I'm saying that what we perceive as our spirit is infact an energy lifeform that our physical bodies play host to. It isn't a parasite as such but a controller, much the same way we drive a car and our bodies are flesh suits. Some abductees say that certain species cannot understand about souls, maybe because we don't have them the way we believe but that we are a joint colaboration where by our conciousness is the alien we think enslaved us. We would not be controlled by aliens because we are them. I think if we could exorcise this alien from ourselves we would end up with an empty vessel, breathing and living but void of any means to interact with the world around it. The conciousness present in the spieces we were created from genetically removed no longer present like it was in neanderfals. Ghosts are just these energy beings chosing to remain here forgetting to move on, the ones that have returning to inhabit another vessel. The knowledge that these beings brought with them so many millenia ago has somehow being lost, maybe through choice or maybe as a result of repeatedly inhabiting a vessel and dying, living so many lives that memories are forgotton. Posession would be as these energy beings already do but their grip not as strong. Just look at how many people talk of white lights and near death experiences, ghost encounters and alien encounters, the ability for both to communicate psychically. We may be of interest to other aliens because we do somewhere in our minds retain the vast amount of knowledge we once readily accessed. Just a thought.
