I dont believe it has anything to do w genetics. I found from my experiences, the more your open to it, the more you absolutely know its real, the more energy you give to them. I can will things to happen by offering my own energy threw belief. Iv heard voices, things falling off shelves, numerous nights of fear anf anxiety, recordings w whispers. Then came 3ufo sightings and one unknown sighting w a beast that was fast, very tall and athletic build w glowing yellow eyes! Stop thinking bout them and they will stop thinking bout you. God bless.
