I live Brize norton, you had me out in my boxer and a t shirt freezing didn't see any thing, but raf brize norton is West of didcot you sure it wasn't a plane coming in to land.
It could have been some new military tech as I saw an amazing stealth chopper nothing that I have seen on the internet,it came in stopped for 5 mins and took back off it was dark but I had a lampping torch and lit it up bet they wasn't to happy.

This seems like a genuine report and too many people here are making fun of it imnho. OP, call your local police to see if someone else reported this, or a radio station or news agency. Don't mention the ##snipped## though (and the amount of name calling on that alone does little to deny ignorance of the effects thereof). This is one of those you have to prove to some people, and your drawings aren't doing the job. But bottom line, congratulations on having a fun and memorable experience.

You know what?
Whether it was 'alien' aircraft or not (and I'm leaning toward the affirmative), you sound absolutely sincere and I believe every word you wrote…

p.s. I've seen a lot of accounts of people who were out star-gazing, thinking intently about wanting to see a ufo, and one (or more) shows up - it's usually just the 'orb' type in these cases, but that doesn't rule out what you saw….

The problem is the human mind plays tricks and you think you saw something abnormal but without some other people to view it.....

Everyone has sex.....not everyone sees a UFO, certainly not like the one you claim to have seen!

It was actually the soundtrack for Megaman 2.

In addition to everything else, they also thought it was awesome that I am nearing 30 yet still play video games.

Again no proof, just like this thread, have to take my word on it.

Videos and photos aside, I just can't fathom that this experience would be for me and me alone, it simply doesn't add up. Yes I'll keep an eye on the news, yes I'd love to hound the local RAF base (Benson) for radar data (as if), as I say I just want to know if someone else saw it. I don't do ringing the police, sorry, not for things like this, but thank you for the thought there I don't really want to ring media outlets either, that's not my style. If someone else reports seeing it, then I'll certainly come forward about what I saw.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm okay taking the ATS flak, I could've produced a #ty mobile phone video yes, but... the moment was so surreal I went with it. I went out to see a UFO. I SAW THE BEST ONE I'VE EVER BLOODY SEEN!!!!! Whatever it was. I can't make full sense of it right now.

WHY would it appear RIGHT as I leave. Why would it fly totally on my trajectory. I AM TRIPPED OUT. It's the lights that tell you it's real. The object itself, I don't, really don't know. All I saw was a dark shape, I don't know if it was metal or wood, it was darkened. IT was like a classic American UFO experience, I could NOT believe I was getting into one of those.

I would liken its shape to PERHAPS a stealth bomber. But it was moving very slowly, no noise as far as I could tell.

LOL! AND. Earlier tonight I flicked through my Penguin aircraft sillouhete book from 1941. It was NONE of them. OH I LOVE HOW THIS # COMES TOGETHER I love co-incidences...

If someone says they saw it and identify it positively, as a blimp, or a large microlight or something, that will please me. If I really am the only person to see that.... this # has just gone up a whole new level for me. I'm sorry I can't take that experience to you folks, and that it seems like some random persons drivel... I wish I could've turned round straight away, chased it, parked up safely and got a shot or two. But it had gone, and not along the route of main roads really, I made a snap judgement. Go home post on ATS. Don't try and post on ATS whilst driving.

Yeah, these things happen to the second, thats the beauty of it I guess

I'm gonna reserve judgement for the mo, But I have to ask others here....How good a video could be made of the night sky with a camera phone ?.......Would you be able to see the stars for instance ?

BTW I too went outside to look for this thing, but I'm S/East of Oxford and it went West ....But nice clear skies.

I remember the thing that brought me to ATS four years ago, and it was a huge orange fireball shooting through the sky. I mean, it was massive and fast, and SCARY, did I run inside for a camera/phone? no, I just stood there open mouthed and freaked out. Not saying OP is telling the absolute truth, il reserve judgement on that, but not everyone responds to situations the same way.

Im west of you OP, and ive popped my head out a couple of times, nothing here unfortunatly, are you sure this wasnt military or terrestrial craft?

I have a camera phone and a digital camera with video options,if i saw something like that i would be snapping pictures and taking video of it just so i would have the pics now days i take my camera with me to take out the trash are check the mail. Just in case
