K, Just got word maybe ten minutes ago.
A homeless man, a vietnam veteran I had helped out some months ago.
Wasn't much, some cloths, some food, some kind words and after that.
A few months later, I helped him out with some tires and rims.
Put air in is bicycle tires once, maybe twice.
Name was Johnny and he passed away last night.
Heart failure.
I have to say, I'm really struck by the news.
I guess because everytime I saw him he was a
such a happy soul. Anyway I'm gonna miss that guy
be'n around. And just thought I'd do this much for him.

A far far better place, wheresoever that may be.

Good to see your humanity and also the fact that someone remembered Johnny.

I sometimes wonder if we should be jealous of others?
Who get to roll it up.
Maybe death is just an unbinding.
Now he is free.

Good on you for celebrating Johnny's life. People we mix with and then they are gone -- they should mean more than the brief words of their passing. Who was he? What did he do, believe in, who did he touch with his insight?

If you are a musician, I think a song would be in order.

Johhny was a lucky man to have made a friend out of you. The fact that this mans passing has affected you says volumes about your character. I could almost guarantee your life is fuller & brighter by the things you did & the kind words you have expressed for this "friend"

*pours beer on ground*

One for my dead homies.

Everyone deserves to be acknowledged when the sweet black comes for them. Here's to hoping you're a multimillionaire in the next go-round Johnny. Godspeed sir.

Thanks for bringing his passing to our attention randyvs.

A quote if I may:

Rejoice for those around you that transform into the Force.

I can't claim musician status. But that doesn't mean I can't muster up
another song for the guy Gent.
He did pass in his sleep peacefully, but naturally.

Big thank you for the sweet replys everyone.
