After 2 long years of living in a country I have never been to and don't speak the language of, I finally have the opportunity to do what I have been
trying to do all this time. I don't have a degree and it has been difficult to find a job doing this for that reason. For some strange reason, I
didn't think a degree would be necessary because I have so much experience in the field, yet they have not embraced me the way I wished. The
situation would cause most to run tail back where they came from, but I did not and I may finally persevere...is the suspense getting to you yet?
I was granted an interview today to teach English at a language academy. Hooray. The fact I don't have a degree does not matter because I can speak
English better than anyone here. Fortunately, I have the skills necessary to teach it as well. I will have a chance and that is all I can ask for,
now I have to make the best of it....running is not an option...obstacles to overcome are just a very important part of life for all of us.
If everything came easy what would be the challenge?
I hope this will inspire someone else to keep trying if they have something they really want to accomplish.
