Energy Saving

Will the price of energy going up from all the major supplies, and our need for energy growing, I often ask people why don't we produce more energy efficient devices and appliances? Why don't we just have what we need and not want?

I find that the economy and the market for selling goods are some what to blame for a over use of products that require energy. The advertising industry also constantly wants people have excessive things that we really don't need.

The energy and the way we produce it is from finite resources, it isn't endless, unless of course someone some where has produced something which supplies infinite energy, and know one knows?
