No, I don't, not always at least. My poetry had always been on the darker side. I've shared a few on here in the past. I don't know, some writers use a lot of emotion when writing poems, for me it's more spontaneous.

I would enter, too.

I enjoy writing poetry. I tried my hand at a couple of short stories in the latest contest. They were my first attempts at writing that other people will see...lol. I'll just have to wait and see how I do.

My thing with the short story contests is its hard for me to constrain myself like that. I dunno mostly psychological probably but every time I try I get slammed with a ten ton writers block.
