Husband of Pregnant Brain Dead Woman Who is on Life Support, Sues Hospital

The woman is dead. But other children have been born to dead pregnant women whose bodies were on life support.
And, of those children tracked, they did fine and went on to live 'normal health' lives.

I would like to see those stats!

‘The aim was not just to deliver a child but to deliver a healthy child,’ she said.
She added that there were three reported cases of births when the mother was declared brain-dead 15 weeks into her pregnancy - but one of those babies did not survive.

Since this law, keeping pregnant women on life support, is on the books in none less than 13 states, and has been on the books in Texas since the 1990's, and I'm sure that there are no shortage of pregnant women that die in or near hospitals, yet there are only 2 successful births on record, I'd say that the success of keeping brain dead women on life support to assist a pre-viable fetus is rare, and the risks should be up to the family, not forced by the state.
