I have been watching the decline of the United States for a while now. When I was in high school I read a translation of a book called And Not A Shot Is Fired by Jan Kozak. I thought, at the time, that going into politics would be a great way to make my views of what the country should look like possible. I was very naive in my younger years. I graduated in 1996 in Tulsa, OK and I had a full ride to college so I wasn't worried about my future and I definitely wasn't following the progress of the federal government for the most part. I was a Republican because I could see that the Democrat's used entitlements such as welfare to keep people dependent on the Government.

Around 2005, a few years after I drank my way out of a full ride without a degree (my dad was a Professor) so I decided to enter the military for a steady paycheck. My spidey senses told me that the economy was in for a slide, even though I had a full-time job troubleshooting peoples DirecTV, I thought a guaranteed six year gig was a better deal plus the benefits were better. Nearly 8 years later I am ready for a change but the course of the nation still worries me. I still feel that the Democrat's are in favor of a much larger dependent base and this is why they continually grow entitlement programs and now they have forced nationalized healthcare on us. I already have socialized medicine in the military, and it works great for the relatively small military compared to the entire nation.

But I digress. I feel that the current administration is using the ideas discussed by Jan Kozak in the book. If you have not read the book I suggest you give it a read. It is out there in full PDF somewhere but I am not one to violate T&C. I did however find a site with some pertinent excerpts taken from the book HERE. Tell me what you think ATS, it seems pretty black and white to me. It makes me sick to think that a few are manipulating this country and others are following them blindly, be it Congresspeople, voters, judges, ect.

Personally I have found that anyone that declares themselves to be a member of ANY political party is already at a disadvantage. Why? When someone declares a "side" it becomes very difficult to see the other side. Without being able to see the other side decisions and opinions are formed without looking at the full picture.

Both the Republicans and the Democrats have serious issues. Not the least of which is ignoring the opposite point of view. I am not saying that is necessarily how you work but when one picks sides it is a slippery slope to making important decisions without looking at the entire picture.

I am a pro death penalty, gun owning (and willing to use it) tree huger that believes in humanities responsibility to take care of those that can not care for themselves. Kinda leaves me without a party......

I am by no means saying Republican's are perfect, that wasn't the point of my story at all. I was more interested in getting the book out there. I couldn't find it using the search function, not that Samaru is that great either, so I wanted to get peoples views on it. My point is really that these changes are on decade if not centennial timelines and people who say that these changes are necessary evils don't see that.

The Fabian Society originated in England in 1884, with the purpose of forming a single, global socialist state. They get their name from the Roman general Fabius, who used carefully planned strategies to slowly wear down his enemies over a long period of time to obtain victory.

"Fabian Socialism" uses incremental change over a long period of time to slowly transform a state as opposed to using violent revolution for change. It is essentially socialism by stealth, a slow march towards World Government.

It all depends on definitions and re-definitions.

Believe me, I know all about that. There are really some touchy people about what comes from or to a .mil email address, that and the fact that they are totally transparent about every single email being logged and tracked. I rarely get worked up about anything I read in a digital forum. That's sometimes hard on ATS though!

I find it funny that people, Americans in particular, see a national healthcare program as the ultimate sign of the USA's fall. I would look at the military industrial complex as the greatest threat to control the lives of people.

Truth is, the government isn't really going to have to do anything to get people to fall under its control, people already are, and are extremely apathetic to putting in any effort to help make changes. We are our own greatest enemy to freedom.

I wanna take your posts seriously. However the "It's all Obamas Fault" tagline in your signature gets in the way. You should know by now that a puppet is just that, a puppet.

Don't hate the man, hate the game. Being a philosophy geek and really into symbolic logic it is real easy for me to see Obama as a man that thought he would change the world and then was told by TPTB he would not be.

Again, just blaming the Prez requires overlooking a lot of players and plays.

US not in decline. Losers are losing and China has 2 Billion people. They will eventually become democracy and be the power on Earth, but US distance will keep it safe. It is Russia, Japan, Europe and middle east and even India that should fear China. US will be safe though vulnerable for sure in the future.

That wasn't the point of my post at all. These are all pieces to the puzzle. If you ask me the start of America's decline was the Federal Reserve. You can look back even further than that to the true causes of the Civil War. It wasn't about slavery, it was about State's Rights. They made it about slavery to gain popular support among the citizens of the Union. The decline isn't a recent event. Like the poster a few above me said this is a global agenda and the United States is but a pawn.

Well, you are starting to see the pieces to the puzzle, just like many of us are. Of course, many of us disagree on how the pieces of the puzzle fit, which in itself is a problem.

But all in all...glad to have you aboard. Maybe together, we as a people can put this puzzle together. (Though I'm sure it will take some time...as long as some don't throw a hissy fit.)

The puzzle gets so much more confusing when you start to look at the origins of language, religion, the military, and then politics and media. Roughly in that order. There are people that have always sought to exploit some form of control of the masses with these vehicles.

I don't want to thread drift my own thread, maybe later this week I will make a new one about that. The point is TPTB know how to play the long con, and it is working. The pieces do fit, we just don't know how big the puzzle is...

Boy are you on the Money, and everybody is following the Fabian false messiah Russell Brand over a cliff.
